We just heard some preliminary times last night. Looks like our i5 is competing between 1-2 both days and awards are at 6:30 on Sunday. Our SS5 is between 3-4 with the same 6:30 awards. Open is between 11-12 and awards at 6:30.

We're the first worlds team both days. Compete at 11:30 on day 1, 12:15 day 2, awards are at 6:30. It sucks.

Could be worse for awards

Yeah it's not as late as it could be, that's for sure. We'll still probably get to see the second half of the super bowl. I just don't like that we have 6+ hours between competing and awards, but that's unavoidable for someone I suppose. Unless they did international awards earlier like Providence, but I don't like that.

I don't like the trend of having open teams go first in the worlds divisions, I preferred when we were later!

I am trying to see if I can make it to a party on Saturday night at the other end of the state, so even though I know it is just a prelim schedule, can someone share approx times for SmY1 and LgY2

LY2 is from 11:30-12:30. SmY1 is from 3:30-5

Debating whether or not to drive back to MA right after awards. Would miss the game obviously but at least we'd be home!

I think I'm going to stay. Rooms aren't expensive Sunday night, and I want to catch the end of the super bowl. I drove home overnight the last two years (last year because of the snow even though I had a room for Sunday night) and don't want to do an overnight drive again. Unless we're going to end up with a blizzard again!

But I also don't have kids who need to go to school on Monday!

It's the school issue pushing me to do it! Especially since Worlds isn't during school vacation this year :(

We drove back Sunday night after awards from the last Atlantic City comp even though there was no school on Monday. We had no traffic and got home about 1. It was so nice to not have to travel the next day.

Same here. Just wish it wasn't SuperBowl this time.
