This isn't scary. And nobody knows what his new alias is?
I have asked the person who posted this for a username (in retrospect, I probably should have gotten that first so I could include this in the post (and verify the info in the first place, my mistake and I apologize). I'll edit the posts until I get the necessary info.

You can't honestly be mad at gymtyme for using high caliber athletes who are already in their area.

I'm honestly surprised more colleges don't do that too.

Colleges and Universities typically support athletic competition at the Varsity level, club level and intramural level. Obviously those at varsity status are bound to following NCAA rules. Club teams rules vary and usually funded by student government or the University but to engage against another University. Intramural are created to form teams within campus and no outside play. I can't imagine that they would mandate outside play without liability systems in place but I could be wrong.

It's definitely just a UK thing, because Rays has a number of UWG athletes on their open teams. I'm pretty sure Electric and Rust had to re-work some parts of their routine after the roster for Team U.S.A. was announced, because a number of Electric and Rust members couldn't continue practicing with Rays two weeks before Worlds when Team U.S.A. practices begun. If it was just one or two athletes it's fine, but not having up to four or more members would mean not being able to practice the pyramid for two weeks going into Worlds.

There are a number of college athletes on CEA's Cougars team as well.

CF threw a baby straight ride from a basket grip with no backspot and the AF from the athlete collapsing was removed because the collapse was do to injury. But the AFs other teams got that were because of injuries didn't get removed when they went again.
CF won over OO5 by less than a point if I remember right and they had no deductions.

Edit: And this was after they were so stingy with legality deductions in SS that cost teams globes.

Edit2: Did we ever find out why it wasn't a deduction? Like was there ever an official reason?

I didn't see the first performance so this is going off of what I've heard/seen a lot of people saying who did see it, but apparently, the athlete landed her tumbling pass her knee popped out and then she put herself on the ground realizing she could not walk. So it wasn't a deduction because she didn't actually fall from her tumbling, she landed her pass.

I'm ok with that because that's what I figured happened, just couldn't remember. I just don't get the illegal basket not being deducted. Performance error, sure, but other performance errors were deducted. The inconsistency is what drives me crazy.

Exactly. I feel guilty even questioning the scoring because Nfinity deserves to enjoy their win, but it's near impossible for us as spectators to ignore scoring inconsistencies. We're going to ask questions.

Agreed. I LOVE Nfinity, I love all 3 of those teams and I would have been ecstatic with any of them winning. But don't do something in one division and not another.
