Love the positive thread!! Ps....master cleanse is horribly hard so best of luck, hope you do better than I did

keep your head up! I find that if I don't work out in the morning, I won't work out at all. I also don't wake up TOO early because I know that will burn me out quicker. Tomorrow is a new day! You can do this Num1Stunta!

I somehow pushed myself to go to the gym this morning despite the fact that I am still in a lot of pain. I feel like I'm able to work out a lot longer now which is good! I have been eating TERRIBLY though. Today was my sister's birthday which meant pizza and cake :( I am trying not to beat myself up though. I know that it will take time to change my eating habits and I don't think 9 days is enough time. Back to the gym tomorrow morning!!
THANKS<3 I did another 2 miles on the treadmill last night- a minute and 30 second faster than last time:) We are all putting in WORK:) I love it!

alright, so here is a weird question. how do i get my metabolism back up to speed? recently, it seems to have absolutely died.

What in the world is the "master cleanse"? It sounds... not fun.
Long story short, you eat nothing for a week straight. You drink tea and salt water, your main drink is fresh lemon mixed with water and special maple syrup. You can mix cayenne pepper in the drink, but I took tablets cuz it wasn't tasty. There are many ways you can go about it, but that's how I did it. It sure cleanses you, but if you don't make serious dietary changes after the cleanse then you will gain back weight. I'm not sure how healthy it is, I've heard both sides. I sometimes think about doing it again but don't know if I could. Definitely research it if you want to know more as I surely didn't post enough to describe the true experience.

Waitttt. So you are starving yourself and not giving your body ANY form of nutrition? These really doesn't seem healthy at all...
There's many claims from doctors that says it is okay, but I do question it. Your daily calories are mostly covered atleast. Surely cleanses but I'm sure you could do the same with fruits and veggies.

i try, but then i feel like i am eating way too much.

Well, not a MEAL every 3 hours lol... My diet looks kind of like this (keep in mind, it's low carb and low sugar, which isn't for everyone, BUT it'll give you an example of how much to eat every 3 hours):

7am- BREAKFAST 2 slices of lowcarb whole wheat toast, add 2 eggs if it's my day off work and I have time to make them
10am- a lowfat yogurt and a low carb granola bar
1pm- LUNCH a package of shirataki (no carb noodles) with some kind of chicken or seafood- shrimp, scallops, or scungilli usually.... or maybe a salad with some kind of lean meat on it and no carb dressing
4pm- beef jerky (god, I love beef jerky lol)
7pm- DINNER some kind of green vegetable- spinach, artichoke, broccoli, asparagus are my faves- and some kind of lean meat or fish- cod, chicken sausage, turkey burger, etc.
10pm- I may or may not eat a snack this late, it depends on whether I have work in the morning... this is usually my "reward" time... SWEETS!!!!! I'll eat a few sugar-free cookies or measure out an exact 1-carb portion of cereal and hemp milk (the lowest carb of the milk wannabes lol) or a 1-carb portion of ice cream or popcorn... something like that

For the purposes of my diet, it's 15g TOTAL carb (not NET carb)= 1 serving of carbs.... I can't eat more than 2 servings at a time, and no more than 12 servings in a day.

that actually sounds like a really yummy diet. this is my standard day
breakfast- apple, greek yogurt, or .5 cup of cheerios
snack- apple, black unsweetened coffee, sometimes a protein shake
lunch- mix of vegetables and some sort of protein(chicken or tofu or grilled fish)
snack- usually a piece of fruit and some nuts. sometimes i'll eat a piece of toast. and a diet coke.
dinner- some sort of a salad(no dressing), or a veggie with a bit of protein.

and this feels like i am eating a lot! i think it's because i don't like to eat meals. i just like to pick at things and toss a bunch of random bites together and call it a meal.
