I think its really funny that ppl are all over Weathergirls and no one has ever seen them! lol I guess its all in the name! Im sure they are gonna be good but saying no other contenders is kinda crazy to me!

There is already a video of them from practice. and their skills are already there. and considering all of these girls came from supercells and velocity. they have the tumbling and stunts. so its just about the routine/choreography.

Also with the bids being broken down between small and coed/allgirl...

There are 7 Large teams there and 25 small teams.
Out of the 7 Large teams... 4 Have a paid, 2 have an at large, and 1 has nothing. So i think it is completely fine how they narrowed it down.

When you look at the 25 small teams.... 5 have paids, and 10 have at larges. which mean 10 have nothing.

Thats a big difference between large and small in terms of bids

So for the paid bids.... there are 11 all girl going for it... 12 coed... and 20 small teams. I think its totally kosher

Thanks for the breakdown Rich....Can you list who the teams are going for the paids? I know its asking alot, but if you could, list all teams with no bid, at larges, and partials? I thought you may have them at your fingertips since you did the above breakdown.

Interesting breakdown. One would assume that the at large teams are going for the paid maybe, does Pittsburgh have a paid, partial or at large??? So what's your take on whom will get the paid bids and at large. Also, when does bid chasing usually end or will teams keep trying to get that paid even though by the time you chase the paid, you probably could have just paid the fee to worlds going on an at-large right? I'm really asking questions because I'm trying to figure this all out. Thanks for some clarity to a old mama.

PSS has an at large
I think it will be hard for them to get a paid in this division. They will need to be in the top few teams. Even if they hit, but don't win, I can't see battle giving them a paid bid over the winner of small senior. So it really depends.

For the other bids, Fame unlimited coed is there now. So they have the opportunity, along with the other limited coed teams.
For All girl, im thinking weather girls.

I feel the same way with bid chasing for paids. However this year paids have the extra advantage of making it right to prelims.

and considering there are only 3 large teams that need a paid bid. compared to 20 small teams, chances are they may be all small

I think Just Cheer can pull small senior off. They look good. SO does CEA> I want to say MD Weathergirls, but I have not personally seen them yet. BUT, I am soooo excited to! I always love twister teams :]

I just watched the promo video and it says "performance floor stage". We'll see! Can't wait!!
