I am tired of people who say they have Integrity but DON'T! Can I get an AMEN!

But the rest of my season has been a joyful one!

SO ANNOYING. EVERY TEAM DOES THE SAME FREAKING THING!!!

also... routines that go like this:
standing tumbling
partner stunts
jumps
running tumbling
baskets
pyramid
dance

please mix it up some...

Uhh i hate that combo too...
 
I hate watching gyms that consistently have the SAME people in the front/center of the routine EVERY YEAR! Like ok we know who your favorites are. Put someone else in the front for a change. I can't stand seeing the same flyer/jumper/dancer in the center when the person on the left/back is clearly better than them. I hate it when gyms play favorites!
 
I'm over people who can't make it to practice on time continually! Hello....it effects many other people including making the other parents angry!!!

I shared a quote with the team I coach last month - miss once and I notice. miss twice your teammates notice. miss three times and the judges notice. - i have a 3 strikes your out rule on my team, and in my experience it only takes kicking one off to get the rest into line.

Last year, my team's routine was crazy with the way it was set up! It went:

Jumps
Partner stunt
Running tumbling
Standing tumbling
Pyramid
Baskets #1
Dance
Baskets #2
Ending 2 8-counts of motions

I liked it, it was against the "norm" and I think it worked well for us! I agree, the traditional layout gets very predictable after a while.

I bet it was nice getting the jumps out of the way at the beginning. I think lots of cheerleaders can agree the aren't really hard they just end up being one of the more tiring parts of a routine.

It was a great feeling! Especially since the year before, our jumps were after running, standing and partner stunts and they were hurdler, pike, bhs then move and do double toe bhs. That was death and it showed in our performance. But the two basket sections def made up for the jumps at the beginning last year... haha!
