All-Star As The Season Closes Out - Are You Switching Gyms Or Staying?

Either going to Famous Athletics or Ice of Illinois!
Just depends on gas because Famous is a little closer !

My kid is staying. She just switched and went through way too much drama to do it again. She likes it and being on a better team you can can already see a lot of improvement in only 2 months. Area of improvement I like the best is in her attitude toward her sport. Renewed her passion.

im going on my 10th year of cheer.i cheered at the old gym for about 6 years.ive now been cheering at my gym for 3 going on 4 years.best decision i couldve ever made.i love my second family and dont know what i ever did without them! <3

That's where we're going!!! So we're joining the same family. Our last competition with our gym we're at now is Saturday and then we're starting the clinics at FA on Monday! Can't wait!!!! My daughters' are already taking privates from one of the guys there (he was at our old gym and just left and is going over to Famous) so it's perfect. We were switching anyway, but it works out well that our tumbling coach is already there.

Cool! We'll have to meet up and introduce ourselves in person. My cp can't wait for the first day of clinics to start on Monday & go see the new gym.

This program already seems to have so much potential and they've only showcased a partial year team! Definitely looking forward to seeing what they bring the the table in Illinois! Sounds like a great fit for your family too! Those family dinners are important

I was SO impressed by this program the first time I saw them... Being first in line for an at large bid at their very first competition, only 6 weeks after opening their doors is pretty impressive! It sounds like the new facility is amazing, too. I retired from cheering a few years ago, but I'm always very excited to see another great program come up in IL.

i have to say i am STAYING!
leaving my gym would be way to hard! NO other gym is anything like ours!
they are my family and i have been with them for 5 going on 6 years just cant leave and would NEVER EVER want to leave

Switching! first year with this gym because we merged. disliked so many parts of it but the feeling threw the whole year was awful.
there was definitely favoritism in that gym.

As soon as we walked in the door we knew it was the place for us. We walked down that hallway and both my girls said "Yup. This is our new home." I can't say enough about how much I love this place already. Can't wait for this season!!!!!

Thank you so much! We've really been trying so hard to find the right "fit" ever since we moved from VA , and I really think we've found it. These coaches seem like the perfect mix of tough and caring...they had us rolling in laughter last night. Everyone there was so welcoming. Last night was the first night being officially "open" in the new facility and you can just tell they are all so excited to start on this new journey together. That excitement was contagious. It's great to be joining in at the very beginning of the program. I could really see my younger one staying here for years.

My daughter said the same thing in the temporary facility! We haven't even been to the new gym yet!

It's awesome! They're still painting and waiting for more tumbling equipment, but it's HUUUUGE. I haven't been to either of the other 2 huge gyms up here (ICE and UA) so I can't compare it, but it's bigger than any cheer gym I personally have been in. We aren't going back until Saturday though. We'll have to plan a meet-up!
