So they gave an honorary 1st to Bangkok. One that doesn't matter because it affected no one else. They gave out my emerging countries idea.

It's not really an honorary first though. There is no second place team. So if Bangkok didn't really get that score, then they took a globe away from Texas.

Has it always been this way (the males limit)? Does anyone have videos from Bangkok from previous years, and do they have males limits then (or are they over)? Are there any videos from last years international teams that also have more than 12 males (if the limit existed then)?

It used to be you win a bid with up to 36 and then cut down to 24 and 12 boys. There has ALWAYS been the 12 boy limit since the first year it existed (and Rust won). GT competed at CheerSport with more than 12 boys in the division and cut down to 12 for Worlds.

Going off my criticism of prone earlier, I hope it is starting to become apparent I don't have it out for anyone or any program, I just want some friggin rules enforced for once.

That is why Top gun got the second place globe. They cant complain, and Bangkok gets a fake first.

Can anyone verify that Texas received a globe and medals?

Oh I assumed Top Gun got the third place globe and Texas got nothing. The final listing I saw was 1. Bangkok, 1. Gym Tyme, 3. Top Gun, 4.Texas but now I don't remember where I saw it. They might have gone back and changed it so Texas got third.

A member of TG IOC6 verified that they got a globe and silver medals, so I would say 99.99999% chance Texas received the bronze medals.

A member of Texas io6 said they received 4th and there was no bronze...
That is so wrong! I hope that someone will correct that. If Bangkok was a legit tie for 1st (which how can it be with illegal members), then Top Gun should get third and their should be no second. (If two teams finish ahead of you, you are third not second, makes no difference whether they tied or not.) If Bangkok received some "honorary" recognition as 1st (due to the extra boys) then Top Gun should get second and Texas should get third. Ugh, what a mess!

p.s. I love all of these teams, its not about that. This is a problem with the system.

Okay...I'm sitting here looking at the NEW age grid...and IOC6 has been changed from more than 12 males to a limit of 1-12 males per team. So that will be applying to all comps now in the future. So that should fix this problem then, right? If teams are only allowed to have up to 12 guys on a team from the start, it will be no problem for them to use 12 or less at Worlds because they will already be using those numbers and not have to get rid of any "extra" guys. At least that should make it work for US teams. I don't know if that rule is applied to other countries or not...

Now it forces international teams competing at the ICU to have two routines.

Just ask the 2000 Chinese Women's gymnastics team (used age ineligible athlete) and Marion Jones (track, used steroids).

What happens if we try and become an Olympic sport.. do... and someone breaks the rules then. Change the rules?

Oh yeah.. this is why we have no chance of being an Olympic sport anytime soon.

I am pretty sure I am the only one that noticed. As I walked into the warmup room and saw 3 international teams with 14-16 boys. And asked a bunch of USASF rules people (who are, mind you, NOT in charge of that part and not responsible to enforce it). I think from there the info spread. I think the competition company then realized what had happened. A friend asked me, what were they to do at that point? I responded, enforce the rules.

You aren't the only one that noticed. Our IO6 team coach asked exactly the same thing. And not every International team did this - Canadian teams all were within the rules.
