Doubt it... Senior Elite didn't have any competition and he is on a team that got 2nd to a team that did straight up stunts.

I can imagine Courtney saying something like that, because we all say things that we don't mean out of anger. Its just sad that there are simple minded people out there that don't think before they tweet. Calm down, count to ten, and spell out your name before you press Tweet.

He posted a picture from the competition from his twitter so I don't think it is a hacked post. Like I said I really hope she didn't say it and I am going to pretend in my mind that she didn't because I don't want to think of a coach ever saying something like that, but it should have never been posted by an athlete for the world to see.

ETA: he also doesn't feel that he is in the wrong because he has tweeted that he doesn't care what anyone says.

*sigh*I don't really have knowledge of how twitter works, but I do take your word for it since I don't. I also appreciate your support of our coach even if the athlete was wrong/in the wrong.

HOWEVER
My original post stands. There have been multiple people talking about the simplicity of Top Gun's stunt compared to Coed Elite's (including MANY Cheer Extreme athletes).

Who the heck cares if Courtney said it? If she did, I don't hold her responsible. In my eyes it would be the OPs fault for publicizing it. I say things to my friends about other people all the time. Would I ever say them to people I didn't trust or put it on a social networking site? HECK NO! Sometimes those things are NOT very nice, and I would deny it like it's my job if it ever got back to them that I said it. And if we're really gonna get in another fight about how some team didn't set up a shrine for the team that beat them then I suggest to the admins that the thread just gets locked now. He is stupid for posting that. But are we really gonna act like Courtney's the only major gym owner that has taken a stab at another team when she thought nobody else would hear it? She could have said it 3 months ago at a practice and they all laughed about it for all we know.

I agree, a coach will say a lot of things that may not be appropriate to publicize to build up a teams confidence. Now does she actually mean it? Probably not. Is it still ok then to post it on the web? Probably not.

We're a lot calmer about this than twitter is..

Although I popped around to try to see what ACEDAD was talking about...and I can DEFINITELY see what he's talking about on both sides. And it AIN'T pretty..I'm hoping some of these coaches actually DO get the chance to read these so there can be a nice, long talking to after the next practices.

I've seen tweets from several teams consigning and stirring the pot (top gun, se, coed, orange,ss). Everyone needs to be quiet and go to bed. Have a seat or something. If you got a bid, yay congrats, stay at home until Worlds and gloat. If you didn't....better luck next time. The season is still young. I'm willing to bet all of these teams will be at worlds....and in the top 3 in their respective divisions. They all need to calm down and get ready for school tomorrow.


And the parents following these kids, egging it on. Why? Log off please.

I'm not sure how they placed but Carolina Spirit Athletics teams look really good. It was my first time seeing their program and I enjoyed watching their routines. Cheer Savannah has also stepped up this year. Their dances on the other might be a bit much. At the very least, they're committed and dance their back loose

Ya'll need to chill out, teams talk smack about each other all the time. Every gym has a couple of bad apples. Coaches/owners/athletes talk smack about rival gyms all the time. I have heard nasty things coming from RAYS, TG, CEA, WC, CA, CALI etc. Trash talking is like farting, everyone does it.
