I feel like the happiness of the Fierce cheerleaders is all that matters.

i was never bringing down the fierce gym o anything i was just "assuming" as i said in my post. and youre correct.. if the gym is happy with the uniform thats all that matters but the consequence someone takes in posting the pictures here is comments, criticism (good or bad), or like in my case assumptions and what not.

personally i like the uniform but i do think its a little short on the top that is all.. and not that i was saying the uniform rode up and what not but i feel like the routines should speak for them selves not the uniform.. the uniform should enhance the performance of the routine not take away from it with the shortness of the shorts/skirts, and tops and what not.

At age 5

While I dont see a problen with this photo and some might even call it "cute" or "sassy", if she were wearing a mini skirt and tube top it would be a totally different story.

I don't get what the issue with the Fierce Level 5 uni is. Overall its a clean uniform that has just enough sparkle and "wow" factor to it. People keep complaining that uniforms show too much skin. So now someone comes up with a way to cover more but keep the integrity of the crop top and shorts combo and yet again are all over it bashing it. I realize that this is a place for opinions, but most of the comments when someone doesn't like a uniform quickly go from opinions to bashing. If you don't like a uniform then say a little prayer and thank the cheer gods that your gym didn't pick that one for you to wear. If you want to give opinions and constructive criticisms so be it, but don't bash a uniform just because you don't like it.

SN: To Fierce All-Stars....I actually love both unit! Kudos to you

I think the reason that people get so passionate about what other gyms are wearing is because any uniform belonging to a particular gym is not only representative of that gym itself, but the sport as whole. Whether the view of the uniform is positive or negative, for the people outside of the cheer world, it is sometimes the only thing they see and associate with a gym and the sport in general. The people at the grocery store, mall, Facebook, or wherever don't see the work and dedication that goes into this sport. All they see is the way that the athletes of XYZ gym carry themselves when they are outside of the gym, and the pictures that are posted online. Just some food for thought...

Just for the record, I think the conversation isn't around Fierce's Level 5 uni, it's around the Level 1-4 uni that is worn by the very young (would assume level 1 minis or youth) girls. The picture was taken down by the fierceboard admn, but many parents thought the uniform was not appropriate for this young age group.

Personally, at first I didn't like the Fierce Level 5 uni, but after seeing the video, I changed my mind. I thought it looked great, and thought their routine was super cute with a bunch of creative and difficult stunts.

I wasn't commenting on the kids and lower level uniform discussion. There were quite a few comments about how horrible the level 5 uni was. That's what I was discussing. In regards to the kids discussion, I would have to say that people should just be leery of what they put on the internet. What is innocent to one person may be completely offensive to another. I don't feel a sassy child showing off in her uniform is a reflection of parenting. Also working in a gym I can understand why the lower level younger teams are in these uni's as well. Coming from a gym who, other than tiny's, all teams wear the same uniform, our youth 2 and mini 1 parents would flip out if they weren't allowed to wear the same uniform as the rest of the gym. From a parental aspect do I like minis and youth kids in crops and shorts? No. From a business understanding point of view do I realize why it is necessary? Most definitely.

So it's OK to tell a woman who plays beach VB she's not allowed to wear a bigger bikini bottom, if she feels uncomfortable in the required size??? Simply because she's so athletic and on a pit of sand???
Actually, that's not what I'm saying at all :) I believe it's the direct opposite of what I'm trying to say..beach vb players are more likely to get judged on their skills..then on what they're wearing. If a beach vb player wants to wear a more covered ensemble (because really, sand in your suit is NO fun), go right ahead!

given the fact thats not the rays style everybody loves i actually like the uni i like the logo placement on the sleeve i like how the skirt is so clean cut and i like the sleeve thats covered in green and blue the circles and arrows are a little annoying though and the neck line needs work :p
