All-Star Best Excuses To Miss Practice...

I officially stopped breathing when I read the "can't come to practice because Justin Bieber has a girlfriend" excuse. I'm using it someday, or everyday, for everything.
Let me tell you, I could not make this up if I tried. A girl on my high school team (I think MAYBE 3 practices in after tryouts, her first year on the team) couldn't come in because she was "practicing cheer at home"..............
She needed the practice, badly, but I think the place to practice your body positions (she wasn't even a flyer) would be cheer practice, not at home?

I should add: she came to the next practice, acting like she didn't just miss practice to practice her heel stretch, and refused to stunt as she wanted to stretch. Stood on the wall, pulls a heel stretch, falls on her back/head. I laughed. Karma.

Our coach randomly told everyone yesterday that we'd have practice on monday to rework everything to add some difficulty and clean things up etc etc. She said she understands its last minute and if you're still traveling or out of town she gets you cant be there, but we really need the whole team. Then I see girls talking about how they're not wasting their last day of break at practice. Stuff like that upsets me so much! And its the same girl who keeps saying she wants to go to state soooooo bad. Clearly you don't. And then theres another girl who got her wisdom teeth taken out of friday the same day i did, and she claims she cant be there. I've been in extreme pain for days and can't even take the pain killers they gave me cause it turns out my stomach can't handle it. I'm not allowed to do anything but you better believe i'll be there tomorrow mocking everything with my team.

I had to schedule a second day of tryouts because so many girls couldn't come to the first as they'd be getting ready for the Justin Beiber concert. Worst.

A girl on my team once texted me before practice so that I could tell our coach she couldn't be there. I asked her why she couldn't come and she told me to invent an excuse for her which of course I didn't do. Then, she was mad at me. Smh.

i missed practice a lot by saying i had to watch my baby brother while my dad went to work.. and the baby wasnt at my house ..good times..

lol i've used this twice, and i was actually studying for a test. The test was 955 points and if i didn't pass my mom was going to pull me out of cheer right then and there. I figured 1 practice > the rest of the season
955 points?!?!?! :jawdrop:

You're definitely an exception girl!

WHAT?

"I can't practice. My toenail fell off"
^Yep, that was a real excuse.

I've had to practice without my 2 big toenails before... It was exponentially more painful than breaking my nose (and having surgery on it). But they didn't just fall off, it was a result of basing a full basket gone awry
Do not underestimate the power of toes hahahah
