I used to get teased at primary school for being called Tamzin - I always had kids singing the tazmania devil theme tune -.- but looking at these names mine is completely normal

I watched a show one time on crazy celebrity baby names. There was:
Peaches Honeyblossom and her sister Fifi Trixibelle
Tu Morrow (As in tomorrow)
and Pilot Inspektor
there were others too, these are the only ones I can remember.
I was at Office Max once and one of the worker's names was La-sha. I read it on her nametag myself.

....I'll believe it when I see it.

The variation of a name with a - to produce a name that sounds like ___dash___ is an urban legend probably used to make fun of African American vernacular aka ebonics.

I also used my handy dandy librarian skills to search quickly thru the Social Security Admin database....no hits.

Ditto for facebook.

So unless I get a student named that...I don't believe it
I was about to post something similar...I have heard this story a bunch time from a bunch different people who all went to school with someone named this...asked to show me a year book because thats just hilarious and it always ends with...oh she didn't get her picture taken, or she came in school late in the year...oh yea right...never have I came across this. Urban legend in deed.

As is Orangelo and Lemongelo. I was told that one at an old job. In a pediatric office. I hated it when people would look at you like you were crazy when you couldn't spell their kid's name, or get flustered when you tell them you can't find the kid in the computer, only to inform you their kid's name is C-A-R-M-Y-N-N-E. DUH! Carmen, right?! Or A-B-B-Y-G-A-Y-L-E. It was not uncommon for grandparents to bring in their grandkids (some they had custody of) and when we asked them to fill out forms they could not spell the names. Most of the names defied all known rules of grammar. It was also quite common for the grandparents to be unsure of the child's last name. My favorite though is my co-workers cousin "Knotyka". That would be Nautica for those who couldn't figure it out.

Well in regards to the previous post referring to spelling. I'm guilty of changing the spelling of my daughters name. Now I was going to spell her first and middle name differently then normal.

It was going to be Jailynn Bryanah

But my mom and other people were like you can't put JAIL at the beginning of her name so I changed it to Jaylen (I wish I wouldn't have let other people influence me now when I look back)

But I'm really happy I spelled Bryanah differently!!
