Orange had 3 points in deductions day 1 and were behind by only 1.89. with day 2 being 75% they were able to move back up to 1st! Are you confused because of how Angels only moved up 1 spot? because i am too! I thought atleast 3rd!
I didnt follow UCA that much because I was very busy all weekend with my state cheer competition. I just kept up with the results on varsity and was like wow ! lol but congrats to all three teams.. I am from New England so it was amazing to see Bengals in 1st even if it was just for a day :)

I have a question..
If a team doesn't have the most amount of difficulty in a division compared to their competitors... how can they have the highest raw score? Things that make you hmmm..

meanj Im waiting to get home, reception in this airport is not cute, thanks for the insight, I will be checking it out shortly!
CF had an amazing routine, choreographed VERY well. Their transitions were on point which was where a lot of teams were getting deducted. Their routine, however, had mistakes that would, in my opinion knock them from first. When you have a team come out and hit a near perfect routine, without deductions, raw score tends to be higher. The fact that you are executing skills allows for a higher degree of difficulty. I understand that difficulty and execution are completely different animals and should be judged that way, but one affects the other immensely. I personally, did not like FCA's routine. The transitions were messy, and it was hard to watch everything going on. The stunts were difficult, but the double downs were not clean and neither was their tumbling. On a note not related to the actual routine, the uniform with the hair and accessories is so distracting. WC had a clean routine, not packed with difficulty, but clean. Their body positions were very pretty and choreography was just enough. After watching CF, FCA, WC, and Rays, I looked to both people next to me and said, "WC just won".

the names are censored. i don't see the issue with is as long as i didnt reveal their real names. correct me if im wrong but ive seen it done on here before, even without the names being censored.
Because when you name the team, even if you "censor" (which you did poorly) the athlete's names directly, it reflects negatively on the gym. I know multiple people who have been on diamonds/FCA or are on diamonds/FCA and they would have never posted those things to a social networking account. I know Jen (and multiple FCA parents) would never have approved of those things being posted online, either. We've had the discussion about this on the boards before. You can get the message across without using names. Reiterating the tweets like that makes you just as classless as the athletes who posted them in the first place. Those are the opinions of those indiviudual girls, not the team.

The posting of the tweets of course reflects negatively on the gym, but that is the internet. Once something is on the internet, it is there for everyone to see. Even if it wasn't reposted does not change that it wasn't there in the first place. Even though you may know people who don't approve, the girls did what they did and will most likely have consequences. Trying to have it erased kinda makes it seem worse and bring more attention to the issue, don't you think? I have no care in the matter being from neither gym, but I do think the tweets being reposted is not wrong on anyone's part.

While I do agree to a certain extent, these girls posted the messages from their own twitter accounts with their names. They are old enough to know better, and if not, they should be held accountable for their actions, which will hopefully make them more aware of what they're posting on the internet in the future. Future jobs and colleges are beginning to be interested in your personal social accounts so they can see who you really are and who you associate with. If you don't want it out there for the world to see, don't tweet it/text it/or email it in the first place.

No we have an at large from nca so we pre declined any other bid but a paid... Worlds still costs us a lot of money even being an hour away... Besides we have been working so hard for a paid

What do you mean you pre-declined any other bid? If you already have an at large you're not eligible for another one anyway...

Continuing to compete after getting an AL in hopes of getting a paid is different than not accepting an at large bid at all and then not going to worlds if you don't get a paid.

Exactly...3 girls does not make "all the girls on Diamonds feel..."

Even with an at-large bid you let the company know you already have an at-large from a previous company so you would not accept another at-large. I think it was as simple as that :)

I don't mean to add fuel to the fire, so I'm gonna stay away from the "who should have placed 1st" argument, but I do have one question/concern...
Have none of the competitions that FCA Diamonds have been to said ANYTHING about that tumbling execution? If I was a judge, I would have pulled their coach aside and told her she's gonna break someone's legs allowing her girls to double (and even some of the girls that full) like that..? I understand needing/wanting the difficulty, but there needs to come a point where SOMEONE on that team does SOMETHING about that tumbling execution..
