Sometimes that's what it takes. Pep talks help SO much. Knowing that others believe in you, knowing your gonna do great, encouraging words.. It all helps.
Ya, I realized this after I posted it and I could no longer edit it. I agree with you:)

Not mad but my first thought was when are they gonna replace the flyer since she could not hit basic level 5 stunts on a consistent basis. That's why you have lower level teams. It simply could be she's not quite ready yet for level 5. You can have all the confidence in the world in somebody but if they can't hit a basic 5 stunt consistently, they may just need more seasoning on a level 4 team.
WRONG! The GROUP should be restructured. That flyer isn't bad, that GROUP is a bad mix. As a coach, it happens, some days are strong some days are not. That flyer 100% deserves to be on that team. I don't know the entire team structure but the GROUP is NOT WORKING. Not all flyer at ALL!

"When we set it was weird", "I hesitated" - quotes from the BASES. Drives me nuts all the blame is being put on the flyer. Is she innocent? No, she has her faults but it isn't all her.

Finally watched the latest episode... I cried with Jenna (Why must all my favorite shows make me cry? Cheer, Doctor Who and NCIS) and got super excited when Baby May hit.

Baby May has been on the team since she has been eligible to be on a senior team. She has been on Small Senior 5 for 100% 3 seasons (including this one) (The one shown in the pilot episode on lifetime 2011, 2012 season, 2013 season), possibly 4 or 5. They know she has the skills, they know she can do it.

Baby May "heels". Her backspot knows it, and grabs her calf. Her mains timing is off from the rest if the group. She's new, and hasn't been with them as long. The secondary steps out of the stunt when it comes her way. She needs to stand her ground. Also. Baby May needs to be more flexible in her stretch. She hunches to catch her heel. That makes her butt out slightly. (this analysis was concurred by my CP, a long time CEA backspot. I love her, so she's the smartest one... Don't judge me!). She said that all flyers have their habits. The longer you work with one, the easier it is to anticipate them and adjust as a stunt group. Her stunt group hadn't found their "groove" because they hadn't been successful. Just a Cheer mom's perspective. We could be ALL wrong.

A Cheer Mom that knows her stuff.

2nd time I've seen you be over exaggerative in your response, just because you disagree. Calm down. It's not that serious. I agree that it is the group. That was noticed by the coaches and bases in the last episode. I think the coaches stay on baby May because they want her to keep her game up and keep pushing.

Please let your daughter know that sharing her story helped & inspired my oldest CP who is 11 years old. She suffers from severe migraines and had surgery to remove lesions over the Summer. When my CP has to sit out or take a break at practice she is hard on herself and gets very down. Seeing Jackie an elite Worlds level 5 cheerleader and flyer go through similar struggles gave her a completely new perspective on her challenges. She now feels she can do anything. Thanks!!!!! :)

frontflipper I love the respect you still show for CJA! Yes! Now to see Jackie amaze everyone while on Odyssey :cloud9:
we are so glad to have jackie odyessey!!! and from what i see she is doing amazing!!
