So my mum said I'm allowed a new phone for Christmas. I can't decide between the iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S3. I already have the iPhone 4 and I don't want to be getting the 5 if there's not THAT much of a difference. Anybody got any reviews on either of these phones/which is better?

the Samsung is a "better" phone as far as how much it does. If you compare the features of both, it's got more/higher on everything. But if you like your iPhone a lot you may not like the Samsung. I haaaaaaaated my iPhone so I love the Samsung. They're very different.

Better about Samsung (this is all true of GS3 and Note 2, which just came out): The Samsung is bigger, not glass (doesn't shatter if you drop it), more customizable (you can choose/change lots of features like the keyboard), faster, better camera, screen is a million times brighter/clearer (not sure the technical term) and has nfc (bump 2 phones to share info like videos and photos - all new phones have it except apple phones).

Better about iPhone: its apple. Not my thing, but lots of people love it and would never want anything else.

I'm sure you'll get just as many answers swearing iPhone is better. It's really a matter of preference, but Samsung ranks higher on every "list" out there (consumer reports etc).

Please pray me for guys. I got rushed into hospital on Sunday from cheer practice because I collapsed after doing a standing tuck and started having a seizure. They thought it to be a form of elilepsy but after having many other symptoms since then they think it may be something much worse so I have to go for a CAT Scan in the morning! I'm never normally the person to get ill so hospitals are all very new to me and I'm a bit scared! Thankyou!

I have a friend w/ the iphone 5 and diff. friend with the Galaxy S3.
The Galaxy S3 cracks and chips easier than the iphone. The cool thing about iphone is that you get all of those cool apps and stuff. S3 is a little tougher and limited when it comes to apps.
According to my friends, the S3 runs faster, but not by much.
I'd go with Iphone 5. The differences between 4 and 5 is that 5 is bigger (think you knew that) and it runs A LOT smoother and you can see more on the screen!

Sooooooo...we'll forget about that whole phone thing for now. :kiss: Very scary stuff for you I'm sure! Don't worry to much - they'll get it figured out and get you all fixed up. The good news is that if they thought it was reeeeeeeeeally bad you'd be having the CAT scan already. So the fact that you're waiting til morning is a good sign.

But I will keep you in my prayers tonight. Please promise to tell us the minute you can. Hospitals can be scary, but they know what they're doing and they'll take care of you. Lots of hugs coming your way!!!

I'm so happy right now . tonight was our school's powder puff game and i played on the freshman team. in the first game it's freshman vs. juniors & sophmores vs. seniors. basically they want the seniors and juniors to play together in the championship and the seniors to win. We beat the juniors 7 to 0 with an interception ran in for a touchdown from about the 50 yard line. we were the first frshman team to ever win a game! The seniors won their game but it was close, they were only leading by two points... So we had to play the seniors and we were all really scared because they were throwing punches and getting really nasty with the sophmores. We held the seniors off the whole game, but it was really close until the last five minutes they scored 15 points. It is kind of rigged but i was proud of us for winning one game and playing hard.
