Oh! it's a silk fabric. whoops, I thought it was mesh, to go with the whole "mesh prom dress" topic.

Oh! it's a silk fabric. whoops, I thought it was mesh, to go with the whole "mesh prom dress" topic.

it's okay EricaElite i also though it was mesh at the first time. However, after i zoom in the picture, i realized that it was silk fabric. You can tell by the movement of dress at lower part. it looks very similar with mesh though (especially at upper body part of dress)

Hmm well if this was a bit longer like a few inches longer and black with black mesh or nude whatever and it had less mesh and more of the crystals and maybe a thick halter style instead of strapless I'd actually wear this. . The other one..definitely NOT...I'm also, I'm assuming, older than you so I would be able to walk out of the house no problem.

It's totally a cute dress, its just really inappropriate for prom.

Especially since its from an actual prom store, which means its being marketed to 16 and 17 year olds.

Reminds me of the snowflakes you cut out when you're a little kid. Or oragami. Either way, knowing me, if I tried to put that on I'd manage to get an arm through one of those holes and rip the dress.

well, for me, changing the colour into black won't make this dress better. the design of this dress is already a catastrophe.
it's just my opinion though everybody has different taste. so if you like that dress, i will respect you for that

Fabulous. I was convinced last year that the "dancing" that occurs at prom was likely to result in a teenage pregnancy if not for the fact they were wearing clothes......

Oops I hit send too early. I'm on my phone so I might just not be able to see it but the side panels look like they're covered in sequins?
But yes, mesh in prom dresses is a no no.
