Probably, just noticed it right now though.

It's gotta be hard to have a team in Hawai'i..for ANY sport. Especially one where you want to compete 'nationally.' It's gotta be wicked expensive..
I love this post simply for the use of "wicked." As a CT Yankee living in the South, I don't hear it enough!

The year I decide to not go to Cheersport, Spirit of Texas shows up on the schedule!! That should be fun to watch ;-)

do any states not have all star cheer?

Now that the competition is on the Varsity scoresheet, I'm hoping they'll go by percentage of perfection.
Ok - bear with me just a second. Does this mean there would not be delegated bids? For example 4 bids go to all girl & 4 to coed - and from there run from scores (or some variation thereof among the divisions). If I understand you correctly - % of perfection - doesn't necessarily mean highest score. Right? Or am I just misunderstanding your wording?

Percentage of perfection means highest score for the most part. The only difference is when comparing level 5/6 teams - level 6 is out of 103 and level 5 is out of 100. So for a level 5 team your % of perfection is the same as your regular score, but a 96 on level 6 is really equivalent to a 93.2 (96/103). Does that make sense? That's really the only way percentage of perfection matters for worlds bids. If you ignore level 6, it's still all about highest score. But a 96 on level 6 shouldn't really be better than a 95 on level 5, you know?

Yes! That does make sense. Thank you! So I guess then as far as we know cheersport will give bids to the 8 highest scores - regardless of division. It will be interesting ....... ;)

Well we don't know that for sure. It's not like all Varsity competitions give it out that way. There's no reason Cheersport can't continue to do what they've done in the past.
