Cali seems to have the formula that works. They are able to run a great gym and a successful business at the same time. I dont know why there is so much back lash coming from everyone. If i have to pay the large some of money it takes to have a child in this sport i want the best i can give them. These other smaller gyms need to start working on getting the formula perfected for their gym instead of blaming their troubles on Cali.
As far as the comment regarding free tuition...all gyms do that and probably have a large # of athletes not paying on their worlds teams. And dont think those costs are not somehow passed down to you when you pay your tuition fees.

In regards to the different gyms blaming Cali for their problems. All I'm going to say is this: Cheerforce, in my opinion, are a better program than Cali. always have been, always will be. They have phenomenal kids at every level. And for how close they are TO California allstars, they do a dang good job of keeping their kids. They are a family there. They also have A worlds medal or two and harbors one of the best small senior 5 teams back in the day, BEFORE CALI. They're doing their own thing and clearly succeeding. PCM is entering it's fourth season... Only fourth, and it's only a few athletes smaller than Cali. They have harbored five worlds teams, all five of which have very strong chances of placing top ten. They don't really need to complain - the owners have raised their kids from mini level and are now reaping the benefits of their merger.
Power has been a phenomenal gym for a long time - longer than I can remember.

There just seems to be a precedent of a up and coming program who harbors amazing talent FROM these programs, it's a fact. I personally believe that Cali sees gyms doing well and opens gyms near them. It clearly works for them. I know personally I'm not complaining - you can cheer or coach wherever you want in life, that's the beauty of this industry. But I don't see one location of theirs which wasn't opened as a strategy to pull kids from other gyms. Feel free to disagree, just my belief. It's not changing. It doesn't take away from the fact that they have a great program - it's just how they do things.

Don't get me wrong I loved Diamondz, but the TEA didnt give her a worlds ring. That was Cali.
Very true. But how many teams in Small Senior have ever TRULY had the ability to compete with Orange back in the day. Now, that's a completely different story. But back then, it was Diamondz. She left for Cali very early in comparison to many, before they'd gotten a lot of the recognition they have now.

Back then I would have put CEA,East Elite, and pumas in front of Diamondz.

People will or will not go to a gym no matter what. It's their choice. If a gym moves to a certain area, who cares? People will make their own decisions of where to cheer regardless. Just let it happen

Exactly, there are some programs that I just don't care for despite their success, people will go/stay where they are getting what they want, where they are happy. Extremely loyal people who become unsatisfied usually quit the sport entirely, which is truly heart breaking.
