Now seriously.. what are Gabie, Molly and Erica meant to be doing in the first stunt.. are they going to progress it into a scorpion then tick tock or keep it as what is is now? Whatever it is now...

I had the same exact thought the first few times I watched it. Once I saw an HD video, they actually bring their hands together to form a heart in that not-so-scorpion position. Once I noticed that, it kind of grew on me.

Yeah I assumed it was going for like a chin scorp kinda look but actually being held with the inside of the elbow. I like it

I'm almost 100% sure that one of our old Jr teams did a stunt like this one year so I see it as a remembering the past thing........

From another angle you can see they are pulling some kind of different body position, pulling their foot closer in and tucking it and making a motion with their hands. (A heart, I think?) It's not meant to be a scorpion.

The CEA showcase routines always look crowded because people in all different uniforms and normal clothing are sitting all around the mat and people standing along the back. They are sitting forwards, backwards, sideways etc. Basically it's a teal, black and white blizzard with a routine squished in the middle!
Imagine the same routines on the NCA mat where its clear, solid coloured flooring for a good 5 metres back from the mat and (I think?) it would be easier to see the routines and they wouldn't look as crowded.

As for Abby Lee - really liked her commentary. I feel like it would have given the kids more of a sense of performing to impress someone. Didn't like the comment she made about the Mini team AT ALL. However it was a very typical Abby moment:rolleyes:

I agree with others on here, the Senior Elite routine is growing on me the more I watch it. Their stunts are AWESOME. I hope they stay that way and get everyone throwing that second full around before the scales. Second stunt is so, so cool.

SSX is once again awesome. Love them.

Just to make life easier, can someone make a list of what we're allowed to talk about?

In the cheer athletics thread someone asked about a specific athlete (peyton maybe?) and we spent the next 3 pages reading about what a horrible person she must be for even asking, as that is just NOT done on the fierceboard. Then someone asks on here about this Taylor something and everyone is all hugs and kisses and rainbows and she moved and we miss her. Sooooo... can we talk about athletes or not?

If we talk about THIS performance, it's "only October" and "look at how far they came from last year's showcase to worlds!" But if *we* bring up last year's worlds and say something negative then we're "haters" and it's over and so last year and we need to let it go. So if we want to talk about things from last year we can, as long as it's nice? But if it's negative then we should "move on because that was last year" - or we can always start our own thread.

My head hurts from rolling my eyes so hard at the hypocrisy in this thread.

That being said, after watching the youth elite and junior elite videos, it doesn't look like the teal reign at the top is going to end any time soon. Just...wow.

I asked about taylor, i am not big on twitter or instagram, so i had no clue that she supposably announced it through that kind of forum. it was a general question because she usually sticks out during jumps, and i noticed that she wasnt there. i thought maybe she was injured, etc. im not prying into any athletes personal life, i genuinely thought she tried out for the season, so i found it odd that she wasnt in the routine during showcase.

i dont think people intentionally ask about certain people because they wanna know all about their problems, but when you constantly see someone on a team, and then they suddenly disappear, its just a habit to ask what happened....

Man, is this what it's going to be like after the Cali showcase? I'm gonna need my boxing gloves and a glass of wine! LOL
