Impressed with Charlotte sm senior. Good job pushing up 6 partner stunts. Loving the jump sequence too. I feel weird judging the other videos this soon, I just hope CA haven't over stretched with 2 coed teams.
I get that it is early in the season and there is time for improvement, but I have felt for the last few years that CAC puts a mix of teams on the competition floor that doesn't work to their advantage as far as winning goes, but it could very well be they have a different set of criteria of what is most important to them than the average gym. I wish them the best - those teams are in deep divisions!

this weekend is stingrays showcase... will anyone be attending, and do they normally allow video. im very curious to see Orange and Peach routines.

Thank you we didn't want to show too much, just a teaser video. We are working hard to do our routine for our Dec. 14th showcase! Just an FYI there is web series being filmed now that is following Beatles all the way until Worlds. The series will be broadcasted on the Rockstar Cheer You Tube Channel. The same channel where the teaser video was posted.

Yayayay! Babydonna has 2 friends on Beatles!!! She's going to have a blast watching that!!! Love!

Charlotte looks so good! To have people throwing (and many landing) doubles on a non-spring floor makes me excited to see all the tumbling each of those teams actually has!! The stunts look legit too!! Not too impressed with their pyramids yet, hope to be when they go full out later in the season. CONGRATS LADIES AND GENTS OF CHARLOTTE!!!

Looked like a spring floor to me

I completely agree with this statement. Although I've always been an advocate to consolidate your level 5 athletes into the strongest teams they can be.

Also, the saddest part (to me) about CAC the past few years is that the peak of my cheerleading career was when CAC was putting out some of the cleanest and impressive stunts (08, 09, 10) in Lrg Limited. And now, I just don't see the same technique they used to have. I get it's early and the season, but still.

tumbling form looks painful.

it just looks so pushed.. like those kids aren't ready to be throwing those skills in routines. i've said repeatedly if they split some of those kids up into a restricted team they'd do wonderfully in the division and be given the time to grow and develop skills... but alas, 4 worlds teams, o restricted teams. and i promise i'm not a big meanie, i just really and honestly think they would do well.

ps, are there any videos of other teams from showcase? i would love to see the special needs team and Y5, specifically. or any of their other 30something teams :p

I'm excited for these kids. They're a team that is out of the Concord location, which was one of the smaller gyms in the area. This particular program had been pretty solid in the past in the lower divisions, but had never had a Worlds team. The kids on the team have a lot of heart and really want to make it work, and they are constantly improving, from what I've heard. I'm happy to see them give it a go. I hope they have a good experience this year. Time will tell.
