Isn't the girl Bianca? Or does she just look like her? If it is her, then she's already a cheerlebrity.

Tclm is "The Cheerleader Magazine" - but if that's not Bianca then the tclm thing doesn't apply.

If the books are photoshopped I will be so done. No wait... I'm already so done. I just can't with this picture, no matter who it is.

this will probably come out creepy because she's 12 and it'll sound like i just stare at her chest (which i don't)... but if that is Bianca, then that is photoshopped, no doubt. she is a very thin, very muscular 12 year old girl. those girls ain't hers. and while that uniform may not be in the greatest taste, all of the blame falls with glitzy girl who "enhanced" that photo because they thought that would be necessary to sell their product to other 12 year old girls , and i can not completely blame her parents who okayed it. they were probably present at the photo shoot and okayed her in the uniform, but not the editing that came after.

my question is WHY does this company want to portray their product and the industry this way?

Maybe I'm making this up, but isn't that part of the new rules or at least proposed with them? Something about the distance between the top and bottoms must be so many inches and the inseam of the bottoms must be so long. Idk, I vaguely remember seeing that somewhere. I'm starting to really look forward to when the new rules go into effect at least it will somewhat control this nonsense. Maybe...

I think so, I definitely remember reading something about minimal inseam length. This picture makes me wonder : who could possibly think it was okay to publish pictures of a teenager with such cleavage ? And to what benefit ?

If this isn't photoshopped, how could this happen ? A lot of people would have had the opportunity to say no to this nonsense I think... If it is photoshopped, I can't even find words that describe my feelings for the person/people who altered a young girl's picture like that. Sick, distasteful, etc... But these words aren't strong enough in my opinion.

I've heard of her but I wouldn't have known that was her. I'm sure she is very nice and her parents are only doing what they need to in encouraging her in this activity she loves. However:
1. The fake boob is a glaring (literally) attempt to over-sexualize a child.
2. The red nails and pink lips are a fashion travesty and nail color isn't allowed in cheer. See the thread where this is already discussed.
3. I'm not even discussing the tube top.
4. Why do girls think its cute to pose with their mouth open? Like did they just eat a rancid Brussel sprout and can't get the taste out of their mouth?
5. We all know how comfortable and confident girls feel in tight, white short shorts. Sneaky-a** lady times.
5. A dog collar AND stripper gloves scream athlete to me.
6. At least she is sans poof which I appreciate.

I will take the Rebel Catalog with 'ridiculous' uniforms because even Cheetahs 'ripped' uni kept them covered.

ETA: Even on older girls- it's like that TG referee uniform all over again. Tiny shorts, tube tops. NO.

ETAM: WHY SO MUCH MYSTIQUE? Mystique =/= Mysterious =/= Cool.

At the VERY least, the shorts are a better length. But whyyy does the neckline need to be cut to outline the girls?
