Also, I should mention that I put my foot in my mouth. I misread one of the above posts (I've had 3-4 too many glasses of wine). I thought it said deductions WERE taken for falls when it actually says they WEREN'T. So I retract my above comment and return to lurker mode.

BUBT Large Coed Day 1 Scores.
Those are Great scores from all 3 teams!!!!:fro:

The whole thing wasn't rescored. If you look above at the scoresheet, you'll see that they had deductions for their falls. If was only rescored from after the lights went out forward. That happens to other teams and they get to do over. Why wouldn't SE get the same opportunity?
I could be wrong because I didn't actually see the first routine, but according to CheerUpdates they had 2SF, 2TD, and 1SB. That's got to be more than .5 points in deductions.

Apparently I'm unable to process sarcasm when I've had a whole bottle of Pinot Grigio. ;) I really thought I read that the deductions were taken. I misread the comment and didn't even pay attention to the score. So again, apologies to all. Resume your chit chatting :)

this is the part that kinda irked me. there was no injuries and they competed the 2nd time almost 3 hours later. it's not senior elites or their coaches fault they just did what ASC told them to do but i just didn't think that was right.
took the words right out of my mouth. this would be exactly what bothered me about the whole thing. the lights going out for a few seconds didnt truly effect their routine, in my opinion. but oh well. how much longer till NCA..... i need to see a large senior battle already ;)

Smoed and Blackops slayed! But for some reason GSSA went from having all teams on schedule for tomorrow expect for they had slots but not team names for worlds teams & 4.2 teams, to having no slots for worlds teams at all but empty slots for 4.2's, to now having no schedule up at all. Something's obviously going on. We were in elevator with American Med Coed coaches & they were on phone pissed & complaint about problems with scores. So something must have happened

CEA Senior Elite 1st Performance with Lights out

Wait, this is the one where the lights went out?...Ummm, where do the judges sit bc from the perspective of the person who took the video, even my eyes could track the movements and transitions those few seconds that the lights "went out"? And usually I have to rewind a video 5-10 times in general to catch everything after I've seen the entire thing from start to finish (for every team and/or program just for clarification).
I don't think it's a big shock that I love this team, and love more than anything seeing them hit, even used to go watch them practice, etc, friends w/parents of some team members, but that seemed more like a flicker to me..I'm not trying to stir up trouble either (I'm sure plenty of other people are gonna do it for me...), but I have a question- in the sense of fairness, will someone with as little bias as possible tell me if this is a feasible action/request to redo the pyramid bc of the "lights out" in this video?
I'm certainly not an expert by any means and I wasn't there to witness it- but is it there a precedent for these types of things? I've always thought the routine was scored after part of a routine when it has been stopped for an injury, lights out, etc. Is there any plausible reason for the entire thing being rescored?

It's at the bottom of page 12 or you can watch it above from my post if you hit "click to expand" the person I quoted and watch it that way.

ETA- just kidding. I apparently breezed right by the comment you posted not even one posts above the video...lol

Just to make it clear - The whole lights going out/rescoring is all the doing or wrong doing of AllStar Challenge.
Idk why people are saying things along the lines of "I wouldn't expect this from any other team"/"It would be Senior Elite that gets rescored" when Senior Elite and their coaches were just doing what they had been told to do.

Its the ASC policy for re-scoring you should all be pissy about, not Senior Elite and/or CSP. (I have now finished my Teal Kool-Aid and my rant is over)

I don't know to whom you are referring, but if it's my post I actually asked some legitimate questions. I also don't see anywhere within the past 3-4 pages where anyone blamed the team or coach for the issue or said anything remotely close to what you posted (in bold). Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Not at you at all, sorry if it seemed that way.
Referencing to fierceboard/facebook/twitter and instagram comments all in one post.
I've seen one to many "Its because they are senior elite" posts tonight.
