Don't agree with the large coed outcome. If you drop it should be a done deal that you will not walk away champion. And I would say that for any team....

That is a bit silly. A drop is a deduction that has a specific point value. Some teams are many points better than others and therefor many drops better than others.

If a restricted 5 team went normal level 5 and competed and didnt drop, but all the others had one drop do you think the restricted would win just throwing fulls and kick doubles?

I'll say this about Stars. The reason I think they'll be almost untouchable this season.
They seem to be the only team in the division that is focusing on the little things. It's funny, because I've always thought Stars were the only team in the division that DIDN'T focus on the little things. Everything they did in that routine, aside from the obvious deductions, was done so flawlessly, with such confidence and technique, that as a judge, how do you honestly reward a team who flops around in the air, underrotates doubles, is off time in any kind of motions, etc.?
Anyways, congrats to all the winners. I would not have wanted to be the judges picking between CEA/CA and WCSS/Panthers.

I think you forget about Orange. Ever since I first saw WCSS I have thought it would be between those two.

Though Orange decidedly has an advantage in jumps.

I will be honest and say that I think Orange is ahead of Panthers and SE in terms of the "little things" (with their obvious jump advantage), but I think, the last few seasons, Orange has shown they take a little while to settle into the routine. It's not as polished as I think what Stars are doing is, but it will be by Worlds, I know that much. I just think Stars have the execution advantage RIGHT NOW over any large senior, and I think if all these teams follow the trends they seem to, each of the teams will continue to improve on those little things as time goes on. For Stars, I think that means continuing to have a noticeable advantage over the field, but who knows what the season will bring. If Stars don't start working that jump timing I might have to jump ship.

At some point, you have to start looking past execution only and start looking also at the routine. It's fair to say that the team who executes best should be the team with the rings, jackets, etc., but when you're dealing with two completely different routines, one of which (Cheetahs) is surperior (as evident by scores) to Coed Elite's, execution can only take a team so far.

i wont lie i thought panthers would of taken it... specially after seeing 3 touchdowns and an out of bounds and a Bobble/fall from wcss.. i live for stars but i really did think panthers had it.

i think stars have good execution on the specific skills, but their timing needs a lot of work. I would definitely say orange has execution over them. When it comes down to little things and technique. Orange has that over the whole division.

It's HORRIBLE to see teams alumni tweeting quite frankly disgusting things about other teams (in fact its mostly about one team) and their mistakes.
I know the athletes do not represent their gym any more, but the majority are known for the team and gym they were a part of and they are not acting in a sportsmanship like way. Its filthy.

Its one thing to be happy a team won, a whole other to be happy a team lost. Zero points for guessing who Im talking about.

Rant over. Sorry, I just needed to vent.

Outside of jumps, I'll disagree. But we'd get nowhere arguing, we're both biased.
