I don't even know why people don't understand small senior placements. If you look at how close those top scores were:
Day 1: 97.6 / 97.4 / 97.05
Day 2: 98.31 / 98.0 / 98.2
Final: 98.13 / 97.85 / 97.91
(LL / SSX / BSW)
any single mistake as small as a sb could have changed those placements. There were only 0.28 points difference between first and third place; 0.34 points between first and fourth.

I just watched the videos of the top three, especially BSW and SSX. I don't think that BSW outscored SSX in difficulty (most things were pretty equal, with their tumbling being weaker than SSX), but their execution was a lot better, especially in tumbling.

Yes!! SO proud of our OnyxCAts!!!! The second highest score overall in the entire comp! (SOT 98.68 to Onyx 98.38) For a first year gym, I think that is just great. Only some of the athletes had ever cheered together before. This team works so hard and has only been together since about June so congrats to them! And our coaches. We can't wait to see everyone back in Austin! This was so nice for our gym

Not to put too fine a point on it, but OnyxCats ended up with a 98.55. That means that their day 2 score was (I believe) a 98.80. That would have been the single highest score for any L5 for either day. We are VERY proud of them!

This was definitely a tough panel of judges, we were in b2 and moved from 5th to 3rd.
I feel so bad for both Beatles and Stones. Stones were so excited when we were in warmups day 1 and then go down to 4th the next day literally breaks my heart. Same with Beatles.

Someone must've declined. Either because they didn't have the number of athletes on the floor they plan on competing at Worlds with, or there's an alternate/replacement situation.
