Hi! So i know a lot of us have super busy schedules and the worst thing is being tired/ sluggish at practice! Do you guys have any suggestions of snacks to eat before practice to keep energy up?

Mountain Dew and pixie Stix?
Just kidding! (although you'd have energy for sure!) My kids like to eat fruit and cheese before practice. Or grilled chicken (my younger one lives on grilled chicken really). Basically anything that's a leaner protein and usually some fruit. Also the more water they drink throughout the day, the better they feel at practice. If they eat anything packaged with a lot of refined sugars they're sluggish all night.

My go to when I was younger was Snickers. I had to have one before every soccer game or I wouldn't play as well for some reason lol.So cheezits & goldfish aren't a good idea? Now I have to redo CP's snack shelf.
I love this idea - thanks!Oh I forgot this one. Pb&j yogurt:
Vanilla Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon peanut butter (the healthiest you can stand to eat)
1 teaspoon preserves (I use sugar free blackberry)
About 10 almonds
Red grapes
I usually put all the stuff in the bowl first and throw the yogurt on top, rather than stirring it up.
It's filling and has all the right things for an energy boost. Usually keeps us full for a few hours.
