OH My God!!! Seriously? Who cares! What's with all your negative comments? Did you have perfect technique with each new skill that you learned? I'm pretty confident that no cheerleader or parent is basing what gym their kid will go to or not by watching one video. There were some pretty darn good tumblers too in that video. Are you and your skills so perfect that you can continue with your comments? And who cares that Cheer Extreme shared a video with everyone with some less than perfect tumbling. It's June. Not worlds month. I'm sure everyone, including you, can stand to improve on skills. I hope these boys don't get on fierceboard and read these negative comments. And I hope, and am sure, that they'll have major improvement by comp season. So how about we dig deep and try to find something positive to say instead of negative. Geesh! Be thankful we have boys that are out there trying to cheer! We need them!
CEA promotes their program excessively. Just like with any form of self promotion - if you are going to put it out there, it is going to get talked about. CSP and company has every right to do so, but at the same time, everyone else has the right to comment, and it doesn't all have to be positive.

i know this is kinda in advance, but does anyone know if Nightline puts up episodes after they air. i would love to watch the thing about CA but have to be up at 5am tomorrow, so wont be able to stay up and watch it :(

Just curious: does anyone know how many people aged off of Sr. Elite and Co-ed Elite? Both squad look so young! There's still A TON of talent there though (granted look what they have to pull from)!! That is one thing about many of these "big name" gyms...their junior/youth teams are STACKED with talent (Ex. Green/Teal Rays, Starlites/Twinkles, Supercells, CA Jags, etc.). I feel like it's going to be an AMAZING season for everyone. I certainly hope it is!

going based off a video i saw, 11 girls aged off of senior elite.

I'm sure parents knew about this gym before this video.. So I'm not sure it would turn people away from it.

Gonna step in and disagree with you on this one. My CP is young and we are moving soon. My DH is exiting the military so we can virtually go anywhere we want to, and with each place we have certain requirements: a school system for my youngest, better jobs for DH, school for me, cheer for CP.

I can tell you, as a mom who had NC as a potential, what they post online does weigh very heavily in my decision of which gyms I'll let her try. We've ultimately decided against NC as a whole, and I won't say CEA is a definite reason we won't be going since obviously NC has many other amazing gyms, but for parents who have children who are coming up in the sport and aging into it now...let me say this, it doesn't go unnoticed.

And this is coming from a parent who had no idea who CEA was until I stumbled onto a video by JTV when CP was wanting to watch cheer videos on youtube one afternoon. That was about six months ago.

Regarding the Coed Elite video: I have no problem with athletes not having technique perfectly down in the beginning of the season. That's to be expected. What gets on my nerve is when a video goes on for ages and ages showing me janky tumbling. Why not cut it down to maybe half the length and include a little bit of everything and be done with it.
I'd really love to watch those videos and keep up with how the team is doing but I don't need every tumbling pass ever thrown by every member. It's boring me. Just my personal opinion.
And again, not hating on the athletes but on the video editing!
