OT I'm Putting This In This Section Because I Don't See An All Star Dance Section

If you really understand it, no one would be attacking me on here for it. That was the whole point of me getting up set in the first place. Just because it isn't CW, or isn't as big as CW, doesn't mean DW should be looked down upon any different. Its very insulting to dance who care about USASF and ALl star dance and Dance World. Excluding the user who said she danced competitively for 8 years. That's just her experience. But for the dancers who are only able to dance with All star and the USASF community, they will care. Because more then likely, that's all they have. Is USASF. So its wrong say that.

If you really understand it, no one would be attacking me on here for it. That was the whole point of me getting up set in the first place. Those are my same threads I'm saying it on. People are just not understanding that just because its not cheer, doesn't mean it should be looked upon.

No, you are (and everyone else is as well) entitled to your opinion. If you said Cheer Worlds was just like a National Competition there would likely be those who both agree and disagree with you! Guess what? It's actually been said before! I mean how many threads are about Worlds not being exclusive, about bids being too easy, about wanting a change?

It is ok to have an opinion. It is not ok to be so opinionated that you can't read and accept that others may have different opinions than yours! You don't feel that Dance Worlds is "just another Nationals". I'm totally fine with that opinion. My dance friends have a different opinion and I'm fine with that too. Neither party is "wrong".

No you wouldn't. Many people have said for years that in the senior divisions at Worlds it is basically a glorified nationals because there are so few teams from other countries in those divisions. Many people have also said they'd rather win NCA over Worlds because they feel it's more prestigious. Differing opinions are fine, but being rude is not.

This is why people think Cheer isn't a sport or shouldn't be one. I clearly see it now. Because you guys down other teams, you think the only thing USASF should revolve around is Cheer. You think Dance is basically "baby steps" compared to cheer. Its crazy.

Then get upset when people, especially non-cheer people basically say the same thing about Cheer? this is why people think Cheer isn't a sport. Look at how we're ALL ACTING. We are offering opinions about DANCE WORLDS that differ from yours. That does NOT equal "downing dance"!

I would consider myself a cheer/dance mom and from what I've read so far it doesn't sound to me like anybody's bashing dance!
I agree with USASF not doing dance and I have a child doing All-Star dance at the same gym that CP cheers at.
