Who standing at the back of the mat during the routine? Are those coaches or what? Why are they there, they look like they're counting for them.

I just love this routine.

I was not impressed by the stunt sequence UNTIL I saw it from this angle. They're all ticking up? Impressive.

Serious question- how can it be December and some teams STILL not have music? Or fully executed routines? Especially without an unexpected division change/adjustment? I get it if the music doesn't QUITE match what they're throwing (it's still a bit early). But technically comp season started 1 month ago. Your music making a double-up sound effect and you're hitting a full up? Fine. But that some teams are on an 8 count track and not fulling out at comps is...unnerving.

And this is what I keep asking. Everyone says "oh we're waiting to add in such and such stunt or pyramid."

Ok, but you can still do tumbling full out. And jumps to whatever. Those are pretty standard Level 5 things.

Nothing you need to wait on.

My question is... if you can't hit your stunts when you're only throwing tucks and not jumping, what are your stunts going to look like when you go full out? Eeeek.

OH MY GOD.
Keep it in the gym until you're ready to show the whole routine.
This is the second time I've seen a video of Warriors and they're half-assing a routine when every other large coed is throwing full out everything.

I don't think Cali Coed has performed a complete routine yet, or Coed Elite or Steel from what I've seen now that I think about it.
So I know they're not the only one (in my best Sam Smith singing voice) hahaha!

That's a question we keep asking given the fact our music for R5 is still not in our hands yet. It's not for lack of contacting the music guy either. Were all pretty frustrated, not sure what the hold up is but that's the only team in the gym that has no music. The 8 count track ends an 8 count before we do and the panthers mix we've been using is an 8 count too long.

RoyalCats music is WAY wrong now because of the division change and totally redone choreography but we never had the dance music attached to the mix we've had anyway. I think they're standing tumbling during jump music now and jumping during something else. No clue how were handling that for their debut (gulp!) performance this weekend. I know they're getting the music adjusted but in a good music year I wouldn't expect a producer to turn it around in a week.

I told cp16 that either way he can say the same thing...

Yeah! And that team is 10 days old and the routine (just finished last night....I think) is only 5 days old!

Warriors has a gold, so it's weird to see them struggling this much is Decmber. It's not like a showcase, they are not doing jumps full out at a competition. Why even go? Seems like a waste of money to me, just wait until you're actually showing up to a competition to compete.

ASR Freedom

For starters those uniforms looking even better on the floor. They pop against that blue mat and they look very clean. ASR always has a fun innovative routine. Should be fun watching them grow through the season. Can't wait till they are hitting that routine and we get a front view of it. Anyone know if this was their first competition this season?

Actually cali coed and steel have both competed full out routines, they are posted in this thread about 30 pages ago. (Cali just didn't have their music). And coed elite hasn't competed but they have showcased a full out routine.

And I do now remember cali performing their full pyramid at Jamz. My bad

I'm not making excuses for anyone, but cp says the jumps are the most tiring part of the routine.
