Hi, I coach a large junior level 2 team and I was curious as to what some other coaches, gym owners, judges, and/or varsity scoresheet savvy athletes thought of my kids' routine.
It's pretty jam packed, but I feel like I'm missing something on the scoresheet in the back of my mind. So if you could let me know if you think I should add something, or maybe take something away, that would help so much. An outside perspective is always good!
26 athletes

6 stunt groups (two girls hiding)
Good leg lib, tick tock, bad leg, tick tock 1/4 turn front stretch, scale, arabesque, fall to prone.

Two "level 2 legal" toss hands press Cupies.

7 straight up stretches

5 straight ride baskets (5 barrel rolls)
3 additional straight ride baskets

23 walkover handsprings

4 jumps to forward roll

16 specialty passes

23 synchro r/o handsprings

3 tricks in the pyramid
And 3 structures.

In the back of my head I keep having this thought that I have forgotten something...
Thanks for the help in advance!

Do they cradle from extension or prep lib? Also twist up to prep lib or extension?

I feel like I remember seeing somewhere that jumps to dive fwd roll were a level 2 skill... but I feel like you would be better off doing a jump pause backhandspring in addition to doing a backwalkover bhs elsewhere in the rountine. Varsity scoresheet asks for two standing tumbling skills including one out of a jump. While a dive roll out of a jump is tech lvl 2, it isn't as impressive as a team that has two squad bhs's. Or maybe do dive roll, stand then throw bhs.

Any quarter turn cradles? Or inversions? The big comment we used to get for a our level two teams was to add leap frogs in and add inversions to the loads for stunts to increase difficulty and increase creativity.

id say to put you in the high range in your sync. tumbling has a mass of athletes throw a specialty pass FWO roundoff hs or double hand if all can execute it with perfection.

Have them do a half up to the good leg lib before the tick tock starts. Adds in the skill and easy to do.

thank yall so much! we have 4 groups do front handspring ups in the pyramid and we have two leap frogs, so that should be taken care of. We've taken in to consideration the jump stuff yall were talking about, just trying to see what is cleaner for now.
Thanks again!
