This comp is a month away and I'm hearing it's one of the big ones. Who will be there? Empire All Stars will be there!

I can believe it. We had so much trouble trying to find a hotel. We ended up at the Sheraton :D but we're paying an arm and a leg. But I will be glad for the convenience.

Our room block had to change twice because of hotel closings. I'm just glad the coaches are at the Sheraton.

We found a great condo for the long weekend for less than 100 for me and my daughter and we found a huge house for the other AC comp, much cheaper. We never go out for meals each family brings something to split. Definitely the way to go. Getting nervous and excited hearing how big it is!

Given it's growth is there any chance bids will be added? It is a great comp - Spirit Cheer as an EP has improved tremendously over the last several years!

I remember hating them when they were in Hartford and thinking they were awful. But maybe that was just the crappy convention center staff. Glad to hear they're better now.

The comp in Vegas gave out an extra paid/AL bid last weekend. It's probably possible.

It wasn't just the convention center. They were a hot mess of an event. You could hear warm up music while teams were competing, they never, ever ran on time. We were clueless and with a small gym back when we first started going to their events and even then I thought they were awful! They really do get most improved EP!
But the staff at that convention center are all mall cop employees of the month. The list of rules when you walk in is comical. You have to be careful that you don't breathe or you may get removed from the venue! But they aren't the reason SpritFest is a hot mess either :D

We are finally not going to Spiritfest due to issues we have had over multiple years, even though it is the closest comp for us!

I haven't minded spirit fest all that much, but I'm probably biased because that's where we always get our bid :p

I used to like Spiritfest when it was at the casino. That made the comp weekend much more fun :D (Well except for trying to find all the under 18 entrances).

My now-husband loved when it was there! He'd hang out in the poker room and set an alarm for when he needed to come see me compete.
