All-Star Cancel Cheersport?

My niece is digging herself out so she can go to Cheersport...

Most of our team members got hotel cancelled with no problem and most got refund or voucher from airlines.

I'm very curious because everything talks about working with teams for competition fee refunds, but I haven't seen anything about Stay to Play. It just says on their website that you can cancel directly thru the hotel, but it makes it sound as though Connections will still charge you a night.

They said that CHEERSPORT is still going on, and if your team can't make it, they'll provide refunds.

I know flights for Atlanta for NY did leave pretty much on time this afternoon, so it can only get better tomorrow.

Just a heads up . . . I called Cheersport to see if I can change hotels. They said no problem, but to call the hotel directly to cancel. When I called the hotel, they said they would charge me one night if I cancelled. I said what if I am in a snow area, and they said it didn't matter. I don't know if they are making exceptions if entire gyms cancel, but I am unable to change hotels without penalty.

Just an update, we've driven from Chicago to Chattanooga so far today & the roads are great. Families that flew to Atlanta said roads are slushy but not bad at all.

Several major programs have pulled, including Maryland Twisters. If they were bringing all their teams, they alone could count for 20 or 25 teams.

4 gyms, about 10 teams per gym, 40 teams. 50-60 isn't far off

the storm is just now hitting the northeast with quite a bit more snow.. so even if atlanta is okay now, maryland/NJ/CT/Mass etc. are not.
