I haven't heard about the "Quinnipiac case"... Care to share what details you know?

It was a title IX case. I'm sure someone better than I has better info. I just did a general scan through of the documents.

Quinnipiac wanted to use cheer as a sport to count towards Title IX. The volleyball team was cut, they sued saying it wasn't a sport. Unfortunately Jeff Webb from Varsity was the key witness for the volleyball team. Said something that I feel was stupid, that's me only, and the volleyball team won. I just feel there was a personal issue why Jeff said what he said. It all depends on where you feel Varsity is on the whole matter. I for one am very thankful for what they have done to get us where we are, now unfortunately I feel they are not what the industry needs. Therefore they should relinquish control over the USASF. This is my opinion and have my reasons. I fully support the USASF I just wish Varsity would step back.
