This young lady would be the last to do anything nasty, and these girls have spent every summer together for the past, what? Three years? They probably have private jokes and rivalries you and I know nothing about from the outside looking in. Anyway, after every major Large SR. competition, there is always one of these "the winning team made the poor losing team cry" sob stories. As if athletes talking junk to each other is a new phenomena among teens. How original. Yawn.

Not to be mean she should have thought about it before she did it, she didn't care I'm not the only one who heard it or saw it you never no who's around watching. I would say it if it didn't happen.

You still dont get it! I wont hold my breath.....

Exactly what I was thinking. These girls work together every summer and have become great friends!

I dont think you get it....its disrespectful for you to call out a kid, no matter what happened!!! As a mom I cant imagine getting on here and reading something negative about my child....ridiculous!!
Sorry she is not a kid and is of age and on a Sr. Team she knows better.

I think it's appropriate to discuss sportsmanship as a general principle, and how we expect young athletes to behave before, during and after a competition. But I do NOT think this is the forum to be discussing specific incidents. If there's a behavior concern it should be handled by the coaches for the respective teams and the parents of those involved.

CEA SR ELITE 2011 WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!

After mostly reading and occassionally posting (almost always posting to root on my favorite team) for a few years, I have gotten over getting annoyed by posts with the exception of those that declare competition winners months in advance in capital letters in a repetitive manner. Seems like a JINX to me.

The competitors deserve the respect of the recognition that the winner isnt a foregone conclusion. (Because it isnt).

As I said before NOT I won't get into a pissing match with you. It was wrong you just don't act that way.

Clearly no one cares about this alleged incident, so maybe you can just drop it already?? What you don't seem to understand is this: You are calling out a girl for being a "poor sport" but yet YOU are doing the exact same thing to her....get it?

I'm waving my magic wand and making this nonsense go away (from my memory anyway!). POOF!

:)

So, that bothers you....but Watchenyou's post didn't? Interesting.....
