In high school we got a captain patch for the sleeve of our letterman jacket. Captains were also the only two with a megaphone at the game. Our chant lists were secretly on the back of them as a cheat sheet. That was the only thing I can think of like that. I don't do captains on my team, but back when we did there was nothing signifying who they were except for the chant list on the ground in front of them!
As much as I hate to quote myself, my cps were informed tonight at practice that they will be competing at UCA state in mid-Nov. Someone is "working on" their routine. This is going to be ugly.

SMH. Is she a volunteer? Somebody's mom? A teacher uneducated about cheer?
This is her second year as team sponsor. Her experience is that her daughter cheered in high school, but she wasn't involved and only paid the bills.
