Worlds 2011 was insane. I love that in all the non international divisions there was no repeat winners! I'm mentally exhausted t hough..

Hey y'all! I don't post often and mostly lurk on the boards, but a cheerleader at my old high school needs some prayers. In addition to cheer, she also competes in rodeo and recently got stepped on by a bull. She was really severely hurt and only has about a 10% chance of walking again. Vanessa is a really sweet girl and has had a great attitude throughout this whole ordeal. If you could send some thoughts and prayers to her and her family (her brother also cheers at Mizzou) I know they would really appreciate it! Yesterday was the first day of school tryouts and I got over my fear of tumbling on the hard floor but it hurt my hands SO bad ugh I can't even make a fist now..

Good thoughts and speedy recovery to Vanessa. Sounds like her family is very positive and supportive.

On another note - One of my high school friends is the cheer coach at Kearney High School! Vicki was a cheerleader in high school and we were on other sports teams together. Small world.
