All-Star New Uniforms 2014-2015 Season...just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should!

For years I've said nothing regarding the lack of bra friendly uniforms, but the bra discussion is so annoying! Anyone who is gifted has to deal with feeling uncomfortable just because someone who isn't decides they will. For all the men that claim that bras aren't important or don't understand... what if this were the norm? What if this is what all the big gyms did. You can't wear boxers, briefs, cups, etc... maybe we can come up with a sticky chicken cutlet type thing for yall since its ok for girls to do an athletic activity in. Everything is covered, we'll even add some decorative blinged straps, or maybe some mesh. How comfortable would you feel? Would you not be a tad bit worried in that stunt, jump, or tumbling pass that something may show up on an action shot that's not supposed to. Would you perform at your best, while fearing something hanging out. Maybe a visual can help show how some uniforms are the exact same for girls. Its a little ridiculous that we have to fight the bra fight every year! I wish gym owners would realize that yes fashion and uniforms are important, but the athletic activity should come first! End rant...

This is the best argument I've ever seen on Fierceboard.

Never said they weren't important. Your post seems to come off quite harsh. I was ignorant towards the subject until I asked what the big deal was & then was politely given a lesson as to why they're necessary. As a man, it's not common knowledge to know that breast tissue tears, causes health problems, back pain, etc. So that may be why we seem so lackadaisical about the topic as a whole.

ETA: I do agree though that uniforms should be required to be able to wear a normal sports bra with them.

It's so hard for me not to keep sarcasm out of a post but i'm just saying.... you could wear a jockstrap with those pants. :p
I actually don't think it's you or other men keeping the bra brigade up in arms with these poorly designed female uniforms. But that was an awesome point. I wish uniform designers, no matter if they're male or female, would see this.

I was just coming here to post that, thank you. Do we not remember how many gyms copied that Stars uni from years back?

I'm not even a particularly gifted girl- like the quintessential middle child, I am once again the average size. (Middles unite!) But even I don't try to do any type of athletic activity without proper support. It hurts, plain and simple. And I'm just running/minor jumping. No tumbling, twisting, throwing, etc. Chill out at the beach, chill out with friends at a BBQ, but don't chill out on health. You've got one body, and surgery ain't cheap.
Middles unite! I'm neither gifted nor IBTC too. I still want to be protected.

Not you... But there have def been other men (and women!) who came on here and tried to disregard any concerns about it, clearly not understanding and not caring to learn. You asked and when answered, actually listened. :)

Not directed at you at all! :D It's just a blanket statement after years of posts. Sorry if you took it geared to you. I think the breast tearing tissue has been brought up a lot. Really though in a sport where we tear apart every aspect of our bodies to compete, it's not the most compelling argument to take sometimes. I thought a visual, reversed to the other sex may help.

And I must admit I have no experience with jockstraps so that point may have been missed!

will those jockstraps have clear straps so they can't be seen. Jk. It's great that you wanted to know and bravely asked knowing you might get some harsh answers. Not many men would think to ask so many shimmies for you.

I think this would look much better with an all mesh a$$ and a zipper on the crotch that goes from front to back. And they have to fit tight to the skin. Baggy uniforms just look terrible.
I just can't... LMAO! Definitely mesh and zipper is genius! Who's giving Top Gun ideas now!
