Nope, not a requirement. A lot of people started creating threads saying this so SharkDad made a thread so you could just do it here instead of having so many threads.

The whole thing makes no sense what so ever, people are gonna complain and start drama if they want, asking three questions does nothing to help. Also the three questions never get asked, people just say "first post" etc. lol but this is the fierceboard so we can't expect too high of exceptions imo.

Some people ask some very good questions in the newbie section. Others just want to get through the requirement and jump over to the Allstar section.
