She's only a freshman, but the teachers seem to like the fact that she's actually thinking realistically about college so they let it slide.

In high school, it was never a big deal for me to miss Fridays to go a day early. My Mom just called and said I wouldn't be in, but the school would end up getting mad and asking why. Now that I'm in college and doing IOC5 I just don't have classes on Fridays, so much easier haha.

Because our administration don't care as long as you play by their rules. Only seniors can get excused for college visits.

English rules were not that strict when I was in school but now some schools require a letter on headed paper explaining what type of event it is otherwise parents get a fine.

In regards to moving up grades they move up regardless and just suffer the consequences of not doing well in exams if they frequently do not attend
