Trying to learn how to mix music....

If anyone can lend a mixing beginner some tips or advice on how they started out learning, that would be awesome. I'm trying to look around the web for tutorials, but most free tutorials are just snippets of the full tutorial, or are really basic like "this is the music bar, this is the draw tool, etc etc." If anyone has any links that could be helpful, advice, anything at all, it would be much appreciated.

It really depends on what program you're using. Like I couldn't give advice on say, SoundForge cause I don't use it.
Other than that, make sure you really really know how to count music
