It's just like sending a text but instead of only one person reading it, several people can read it. Those people are the ones that follow you.

You can choose to follow other people and when they send a text you can read it.

Those are the basics.

In addition, you get to choose whether the texts sent by those whom you follow are sent to your phone (just like normal texts) or if they are just available online for you to review. Most people have very few texts come to their phone bacause it can be costly (depending on your plan) and it can just be annoying.
