Oh good! Movies! I was hoping we would talk about movies. I need a recommendation. What's good?
Pitch Perfect 2 was good!
Hot Pursuit was really funny.
Age of Adeline was slow. Not bad if you like that kind of movie, but slow.
Furious 7 was good and sad.
Get Hard was awful! I don't know why I even went.
Home was adorable and I don't even like animated movies that much.
The Duff was hilarious and it comes out on DVD soon.
I've heard Kingsmen was really good, but haven't seen it.

Yes, Kingsman was fantastic!! Maybe not quite appropriate for some younger kids, but we loved it.

Pitch perfect was good and although I still haven't seen it my kids loved age of ultrasonic (avengers). I've always been the movie girl that NEVER watches tv...like ever. That's sortof changed a bit lately, Netflix helps.

I did "appointment tv" really twice in my life and that was a long time ago (The Xfiles and The West Wing for the first few seasons) and haven't been impressed with much on tv since.

That being said, I'm super excited to watch Aquarius which starts tonight and is available on NBC online to binge starting tomorrow, and Outlander on Starz is probably the best show on TV (adapted from my favorite book series of all time). If that show doesn't bring in truckloads of Emmys in basically every category, I call BS on life. Hannibal (which I would actually love to binge the first two seasons but can't find it available anywhere) looks good. I saw the preview for the new season starting in like two weeks. And I have been binge watching Castle because TNT runs them all the time and it's a cute, fluffy little mindless show, but fun.

Can you tell I like the cop show, historic period, dark drama type thing?

Oh....and my favorite show of all time has been revived after 13 years for a 6 episode run that premieres January 24, 2016.

You can be Scully and I will be Buffy. We can hang out with Sam and Dean every now and then.
I'm down with that. No lie I actually have a friend who is a ph,d/M.D. Working on cancer research at U Penn who chose that path because she (legit) wanted to be Scully back in the day. Was headed to forensic pathology until she found the gene that links breast cancer in women probably 20 years ago now. Total mistake on her part she didn't realize she was reading a genetic sequence upside down and backwards (had been up for 48 hours at that point) and that's how she saw it.

So now she's a phD/MD curing cancer....and I'm, well..... Not.

Just in case any of your friends make you feel inferior by their mere existence...I gotcha beat!

I don't know if any thread this summer will top this one...and kids are still in school lol ...yikes.

I LOVE deep fried pickles! Don't think I could try deep fried butter though...I felt my blood sugar rising as I was reading and seeing all the pictures of food.

On another note Ottawa, Canada is getting Popeyes! HALLELUJAH

So is Georgia country boy central? I've been to GA once and the accents...ugh heavennnn! I need to find me a southern man!

Currently re watching Charmed on Netflix...bit cheesy but I like it. Already did Buffy, Hawaii 5-0, Greys, House, and I'm prob forgetting a few others.
