I had never heard about this until last weekend when a friend told me she had it done. Suddenly it's everywhere, though! It looks so good, and I love the idea of it...but I read that it only lasts a year??? That seems short for so much money. My friend paid $800 for both brows. [emoji16]

i just saw a video on this a few weeks ago. im curious as to how much it hurts though, i cant imagine getting my eyebrows sliced for fun.

They use a numbing cream before they actually do the procedure. Afterwards it hurts about as much as any tattoo would. The most annoying part was the itching while it healed, but you just have to keep on the moisturizing!

$800??? That's crazy. Way more than mine were. I decided to go for it because I have maybe 25% eyebrows of my own. Filling them in each day was so time consuming to me. Also, things like going swimming or working out, you don't consider that your eyebrows come off and leave you basically expressionless lol.

It was worth it to me because I was so self conscious about my eyebrows and now I don't even think about them.

I wonder if it will be less as it becomes more popular. She got it done at a salon in a dermatology office. Or something like that.

This isn't really a makeup thing, but if anyone has sparse brows etc, I would highly recommend microblading. I had it done and have virtually now eyebrows of my own and I'm in love with not having to fill them in every morning. It lasts for 1-2 years depending on your skin and costs about $300-500 Canadian, but its probably the best money I've ever spent for something cosmetic!!!
I've never heard of it before but from what i'm reading is it essentially like a tattoo, but not totally permanent? That's cool!
My best friend's mom has her eyebrows tattooed on (just a regular tattoo) because she had chemo and her eyebrows never grew back. I didn't even notice until she pointed it out though!

Thats right! I opted for it instead of a traditional tattoo just because eyebrow styles seem to change.

Has anyone tried the Too Faced BTW foundation or the UD naked skin concealer?
Ive used the foundation before. Its definitely not a full day foundation on me even with setting spray which sucks since most of my days at 12+ hours. It is full coverage though. The two lightest shades are only available online which is annoying, and the lightest in store is just a tad too dark for me so I recently switched to a different one until I hopefully get some color this summer.

Has anyone used BH Cosmetics brushes and had a allergic reaction? I bought a set today. I was checking the feel of them on my face. Then later tonight I noticed my cheeks were red and I bit hot. it was just weird.
I also found a Too Faced Amazing Face foundation for $6 on clearance. But it was the darkest shade :(.

Wait what store had it on clearance? Dark like black girl dark?
