Are we doing a fantasy football league again this year? I don't remember when we started last year but I know I want to do it again!

 Your school offered arbys? Thats pretty nice.
I keep seeing people post about having concession stands too, we never had one of those either.
The main reason, that i learned the hard way, was to never buy lunch at our high school for the simple fact that you spent almost your entire lunch period waiting in line. And never had enough time to eat it.

When I was in high school, they would sell individual pizzas from Domino's separate from other lunchtime options. I think they did that until the middle of my sophomore year and then they started changing up what kind of food was served (ie healthier options). During my junior and senior years, they installed a salad bar and that seemed to be a big hit with students. Also, all grades were allowed to go off campus for lunch.

This! It's flabbergasting that as a first world country, we can't give our children the educations they deserve without making the parents pay for all supplies and the teachers funding their own classrooms.

And in many lower economic districts ( every district my mom has ever been a principal in) most teachers not only buy the supplies and decorations THEY need/want for their classrooms but have been stockpiling supplies all summer because their students can't afford them. My best friend will be a second year teacher and she was lucky enough last year as a new grad to be taking the place of a retiring teacher who left her classroom supplies and enough student supplies for at least the year.

My older brothers had something like that but I'm not sure how official it was or if the school just turned a blind eye to it.

**j'applaudis avec mes cuisses de tonnerre**

they actually IDed the ones who wanted access at my school. this was in the '00s.

Is anybody good with crafts or have any ideas of what to do with a bunch of postcards? I'm like the least crafty/artistic person out there haha

I'm actually in the process of hanging up my postcards! I went to Michaels and got some colored twine and these cute little colored clothespins, plus a little container to put the pins in. 300ft of twine, 60 clothespins, and the container cost about $15. Then I have some tiny nails I was just going to nail into my wall, string the twine across, the clip on the pins holding the postcards. I can post pictures when I finish if you want.

yeah if you could post some pictures that would be great! if I can't figure out anything to do I'll probably just get a bulletin board and put them up or something haha

At 21, I've officially retired from cheer after a maaaajor injury that I attempted to push through last year. I've been out of the sport since worlds. I knew retirement would be hard after competitively going gymnastics then cheer, but it's gotten to the point where i dont know what to do with myself! I work out constantly, but there is very little satisfaction in that. help!

My retired cheerleader found that anything with some choreography (aerobics/kick boxing etc type things) helped fill a void.
