Going at the end of November. Eek! It's not too bad during the day I've heard and seen (mid 50's, dropping in the evening). My hubby-to-be has never traveled internationally and we've always wanted to do Ireland, so we're determined. We'll be staying in Dublin.
Dublin is great. You will not need a car if you're thinking about renting one. Prepare for a variety of weather but it shouldn't be too cold during the day.

Does anyone have Jeffrey Campbell shoes? I really want a pair of 99 tie booties but my feet are kind of wide and I'm scared to buy this pair from a consignment website because I can't return them! :help: I can't even go to a store and try some on because I'm pretty sure no store around me carries his shoes :banghead:

They have to do that dang ballet bun that I've never done a day in my life [emoji52] and fake eyelashes...these kids are nine. I'm 21 and can't even put fake eyelashes on myself let alone on a small person (that hates having them put on). I think I was actually sweating while getting them ready because I was so nervous haha.

But apparently the bun and eye makeup looked great because they asked me to do it again tomorrow [emoji23]

I am so good at that bun now I should get paid for it. My bp (ballet princess, fka Idp)'s bun looks like a perfect, completely flat, spiral-y cinnamon bun. It's flawless.

For competition they do a headband Dutch braid. They were doing a low ponytail with it, but they're going to switch to a low side bun with the headband braid. They have a Bollywood routine that they have high ponies for, so we have to switch the bun to a high pony somewhere in the day. Luckily that's a production piece, so it's usually last. Once they're in ponies they're done. Whew!

We don't use false eyelashes. I soooo wish we did - I love them. The moms threw a fit and said it was too over the top. I can't describe my confusion that a) we listened to them, and b) THAT is the thing that was too much??? $100 for makeup is OK, that stupid braid is OK, $120 hip hop shoes... Still fine. False eyelashes were the line? Lord help me.

Can someone please convince this girl to cheer again? [emoji22]

I need a planner. I'm looking at Erin Condren but they're so expensive! Anyone have one? Worth it? Or just go with something like this:

Tools4Wisdom 2015 Planner ✚ Calendar ✚ Personal Organizer Journal ✚ 12 Month Yearly | Monthly | Weekly | Daily Goal Setting Agenda Amazon.com : Tools4Wisdom 2015 Planner ✚ Calendar ✚ Personal Organizer Journal ✚ 12 Month Yearly | Monthly | Weekly | Daily Goal Setting Agenda : Office Products

(I haven't used one in years. But now I'm doing my beachbody business (go me! I actually have enough to do with it that I need a planner!), my regular job, and bp's school and dance stuff. I think it's time to start writing some stuff down!)

If you're seriously looking at Erin Condren: try the plum paper planners on etsy. They're basically the same layout, just cheaper. From what I've read the pages are thinner than the Erin Condren ones - but I think that only makes a difference when you have pens that bleed through a lot.

Since I'm a huge planner nerd: look for free planner printables online (there are tons of them on pinterest) or design something similar to the planner layout you want on your computer and then try that for a couple of days. That way you can quickly see if the layout works for you or if it doesn't. Size it to about the same size your desired planner has.
When you know the layout that you like, ask me again, I could then probably tell you which planners fit your layout :)

Those planners are so cute! I want to be a planner nerd so bad! I have TONS of them at home, but they never get used. I had my husband buy me a palm pilot listing a million reasons why I was going to use it, (I was just starting grad school) I think I turned it on once maybe twice. I bought super expensive planners thinking I would use them because I spent the money, and I have gotten the ones from Staples that you can put together yourself and have never been able to consistently use them! I envy anyone who can use a planner for more then a week!

LOL a Palm Pilot. I forgot about those babies.

It was back when I had my nifty Nextel! lol I will never live down the Palm Pilot- to this day my husband knows where it is in the house, and whenever I want a piece of technology that he doesn't think I will use he goes and gets it and tells me to use this first then he will gladly purchase the useless technology I want. lol

You could send those unused planners my way... just saying ;).

And I'm truly envious of people that can function without a planner. Like my planner is my second brain - color coded with lists for everything, etc. I couldn't remember any appointments or other important things without it.

self-proclaimed planner-snob here... i love erin condren because of all the "stuff" you can add to the planner but they're crazy expensive alone and that "stuff" is all extra $$. I had a plum paper design a year or two ago and it was pretty, cheaper, and had my monogram but I absolutely hated the day layouts in both EC and PP. The "day" spaces for both are vertical columns versus horizontal chunks of space. Maybe I just write too big, but I couldn't even fit a whole word per line on the space provided and had to abbreviate everything. but I am using it for school assignments and appointments. Maybe someone who has less to write would like the vertical setup.

I much prefer the horizontal spaces, so I switched back to Lilly Pulitzer. hands down the best planners out there (unless you like the vertical columns.)

Just make sure you look at the close-ups of the pages before you purchase to see the space you'll be working with. EC and PP were both beautiful and well made, just didn't work for me. Lilly is just as good quality, slightly cheaper and it's fun.

To see them get used, I would totally send it to you! I will get you the specifics on the leather planner and if you want it I'll see what we can do. You have to purchase the insides online- or you may be able to find it at a staples or office max.

I used a planner when I first started my internship- so I had to track my appointments, where I was seeing clients- if their notes where done and so on. For the first semester it was color coded so I could quickly look at it and see when my meetings where and classes and open slots. Then my company went paperless and there went my calendar/planner. I've been trying to get back on track ever since. Unfortunately for work I have to keep an outlook calendar because my schedule needs to be seen by a bunch of people, so I try to use that for everything- but I don't know if I want my boss or my employees to know personal stuff. I think if I can find a good app to use I may be able to keep everything in it. Even without a planner I am a list queen! I just tend to forget to bring them with me! lol My husband says I'm too busy to be organized, but I think if I can get organized I may not be as busy! lol

Awesome thing I found out a few months ago. You can make an appointment on Outlook private. It will show up as a blocked time, but the details and everything aren't seen by anyone other than yourself. Just use the little "lock" icon.
