Going blonde is so much fun! I dyed my hair brown in December after being blonde for 2 year, and just got highlights so I'm in the same boat you are. I remember being so excited getting my first set of highlights! It was right before the end of seventh grade and I had begged my mom to let me get them. She told me maybe 2 days before that she had scheduled the appointment as a reward for working so hard all school year. I flipped out, lol. Have fun!

Haha exactly!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets excited about something like high lights [emoji23]

ugh i HATED night classes with a passion, i only ever had to take two while in college, and one was a sculpture class so that wasnt to bad. but i remember having to take a history class and the only way i could fit it into my semester was to take it at night. it was the worst decision i ever made. lol. history was my least favorite out of all the classes i was forced to take, and having to attend it at night made me want to stab myself repeatedly, plus i had a horrible professor. i knew after a few weeks i should have dropped it but my mom said it was a bad idea, so i stuck it out... and guess what........

i didnt pass it and had to retake it the next semester. lol i never made that mistake ever again and if meant scheduling my first class of the day at 7am to be able to fit them all in one day or however i worked it back then. i did what i had to do to avoid taking any night classes after that.

Mine is my capstone so its the class that decides if I graduate in the spring, and its only offered in the fall so if I don't pass I have to stay another semester and then wait till the next spring to walk since my school only does one graduation a year.

It's one of my favorite things to have done [emoji23] I get antsy getting my nails done because I just have to sit there and attempt to make conversation (which I'm not good at) and my feet are super ticklish so I have to concentrate on that if I'm getting a pedicure to make sure I don't kick my nail person in the face in surprise, but when I'm getting highlights it's so relaxing. I can be on my phone if I want, but I've gone to the same girl since my first set of highlights, so she knows my life basically, lol.

OMG LITERALLY SAME. Getting my nails done is the most awkward thing in the world and I actually despise it. And same with my hairdresser! I've never gone to anyone else and probably never will hahaha

I've had black hair for the majority of my life and I just got blonde and light brown highlights yesterday to start slowly transitioning to blonde and I'm SO excited!! Like I am obsessed. I was going to wait until a 3rd appointment to go full blonde but I think I'm just going to do full out it next time. I am such a girly girl so this is so much fun for me lol

You're smart to do it in stages! I see so many girls come into work confused about why their hair is orange after trying to go from black to blonde! Especially when doing it themselves...good Lord. If you're going to go lighter, go to a professional! Going darker isn't as big of a deal though.

I hope you love it! I've been almost every ( natural) color there is but I always go back to blonde!

Hahaha. If I stay close, I probably will, but I don't know if I'm going to. I went to another woman when I was little (along with sporadic trips to chains in between) and it's the same woman my mom has gone to forever, so she knows my life too. Those would probably be the only 2 I'd go to

Omg that would be awful, totally agree! I did so much research hahaha I am so prepared. Doesn't hurt that my hairdresser is actually a genius! I was actually in Sally's yesterday to get a toner shampoo and there was a poor girl who was just searching for something to get the orange out of her new blonde hair, I felt soooooo bad for her hahaha
&thanks!! I def think i will love it- I am so jealous of blondes like all the time so might as well join the fun!!

I always go to a professional to do my blonde. I don't trust myself with bleach especially me it's so much more obvious if it gets messed up, but every time I've gone dark I've used a box color.

I do the same with blonde! I always revert back to it no matter where my hair was before. My friend told me yesterday "I'm jealous that Emma can pull of any hair color she tries."

Nope. I have Optic Nerve Drusen. I guess I can go pretty much anywhere that has the machine they use to check to see if its getting worse, but its easier to just go to the same place since shes one of the best in the area and they have all the other tests that I've had done. Like the first time I went I had around two hours of tests that I had to do and it was torture.
The first time I had to do all of my tests it took SIX hours!!!! I was quite sassy.

Eye tests are the worst. I left pretty much blinded after they dilated my pupils and then used flash to take pictures of the insides of my eyes. Before I went to that specialist I had to have other basic tests done at a specialist in my city and then an MRI since they werent sure exactly was still going on.

*Grey's Anatomy spoiler alert even though pretty much everyone knows about this because the internet exploded when it happened*

Grey's Anatomy season 11 got put on Netflix and I just watched the episode where Derek dies and I honestly almost started crying. I'm embarrassing.

you think that's embarrassing? I was seriously sobbing. hysterically. could not control myself. over a character. In a fiction TV show.. IM embarrassing...

side note- anyone else feel like she's kinda trying to throw the show a little bit? there's hardly any of the original cast anymore.. and I did not like the season finale at all.. felt like a series finale..

Poshmark is literally the greatest/worst website ever. I WANT EVERYTHING. So far i've gotten 2 CA Panthers shirts (and a good deal!!) and 2 brandon shirts. I need to stop. I need to delete this app. AH.

Night classes were the worst. I enjoyed the semester where I had 8ams every day more than the semester where I had one 3-hour night class. I always tried to schedule all my classes before 2pm and as close together as I could to avoid awkward breaks. It was so easy to not get anything done on days where I had awkward breaks in between classes. Like it was too long to be a "quick breather" but too short to do any sort of work. I ended up just watching Netflix those days.

I wish I was able to pick my own schedule again. With my grad program it's me and my 38 classmates together all day every day. M-F from 8/9-4/5, with two 3 or 4 hour classes a day. One semester we had two 8-6:30 days which were killers. Though part of me wishes I was still in the classroom right now, because working from 6:30am-4:30 every day for my clinical is exhausting.
