And Warriors have won worlds before too. I believe in 2009 or 2010? They've been a big name long before their worlds finish this year :D And they were at Majors in 2014 as well, so you're probably right that they'll be invited back. Maybe they alternate years or something?
They won Worlds in 2011. They literally slayed Large Senior Semi Limited Coed at that time. As far as I know, they also won all major competitions such as Cheersport, NCA, and UCA.

I would LOVE it if Top Gun made a return to the Majors. With the addition of Medium Senior I could see if they would go if both Lg Coed and Md Sr got the invite, but they haven't been in so long so I don't want to get my hopes up.

I could also see Angels (small all girl) getting an invite. I don't know the requirements, but they got third at worlds this year.

Indianapolis is very drivable for us!

Since we all know how terrible I am at geography how many hours is this drive? And what comps does the "driving distance only" knock out? Just Dallas? And champs league depending on location?

8 hours and 14 minutes - kernersville to Indianapolis (according to google maps)

I actually googled this the other day when I was bored at work! According to google maps, Kernersville is (rough estimates)...

5 hours from Atlanta (Cheersport)
5 hours from DC (BATC and Champions League this year)
9 hours from Orlando (Summit, Worlds, and UCA (can't remember if they attend?))
8 hours from Indianapolis (The Majors, Jamfest Nationals)

And then, since Champions League moves around):
6 hours from Columbus, Baltimore
7 hours from Pittsburgh, Nashville, Cincinnati, Cleveland
8 hours from Philly, Louisville
9 from NYC
10 from Memphis (Probably pushing it at this point)
11 from Chicago and New Orleans

CEA has lots of options!

that's nuts. I wouldn't consider anything more than 7 hours "driving distance" but more power to them, i guess. it'd probably be cheaper to fly to half of those places.

We used to do Syracuse to VA beach every year for Final Destination/US Finals which is a 9 hour drive without stops and traffic. It wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't want to do it every month. Especially since cheer happens in the middle of winter.

I guess the option of driving, in theory, cuts down on costs for parents but your child is still going to miss just as much school because anything over 7 hours means you're either skipping parts of school or your driving in veryyyyy late at night. And I doubt southerners want to drive to all these places in the middle of winter when snow is common in many of the places I listed. Granted I don't see CEA going to Ohio, Pennsylvania or anyplace north of Virginia with the exception of Indy and DC but still. The idea is plausible but I'm interested in how it plays out for CEA this season.

I am so over black ops and their constant need to start drama with any team who's ever beat them, lol. I was rooting for them this season but seeing them try to tear down other teams successes is just too much for me now.
I feel that way about Purple Royalty. We all saw their true colors after Worlds last year.

honestly I would say all in all medium coed is probably one of the better divisions, aside from Cali and sot. everyone else is so supportive and the awards were so cute! everyone was congratulating them and ca and sot were just staring at them with sour looks on their faces. like I'll gladly take that bronze and silver globe if you'd like.

I agree! medium coed and small senior seem like the most supportive divisions to me. Like aside from one or two teams, they're all just friends who want to see each other hit.
