I have to disagree. The judges did not even calculate scores correctly and one of the "favorite" gyms was awarded a win in the Sr 4 division (large I think) when you added the scores the 2nd place team actually won. Which I believe they were notified after the competition ... But only cause the math error was caught...

Well.... There's no really calculating scores. The computer handles all of it. So there's not much of a math error.

And if we're talking about Large Senior 4 ... WC Galaxy and Cheer Intensity seemed neck and neck to me. It could've gone either way.

Everyone worked hard for this weekend... Not just one gym. From a coaches perspective the scores in a lot of divisions were just not right at all and didn't add up.

I agree... The cheer world is small. Everyone knows each other. This particular competition seemed HEAVILY favored towards the direction of one gym!!!

Just an observation I noticed this event they didn't break up any of the division's which I kind of liked. But I wonder if that contributed to placements not be accurate if so.

I disagree -- I wouldn't say one gym. But looking at the results most of the division winners were from WC, ECE, Pro, and Cheer Factor.

Well. There really is calculating
Scores ... deductions that were marked were never calculated in.... So yes there were math errors so to speak.... And no it was an ECE gym that was awarded.... And the 2nd place team should've been sorry I'm not sure which team was in 2nd.....

Well.. I did see some salty athletes. But it depends on the division, I don't think favorites were picked really. There were some WC teams that didn't win or take it all and there were some small gyms who really dominated which just goes to show that it didn't really matter what gym you were from. Just out of curiosity what gym are you from?

yeah I definitely did not mean for it to seem like it was only the one gym. The competition this weekend was full of incredible teams some of the best I have seen in a while! I am sure all of them worked really hard to look the way they did and they all looked amazing.

Our gym is new and small and watching the competition we knew the kids routines were no way near the precision and execution level of some of the bigger gyms... I was just reading others comments and looking at the scores and heard many inconsistencies with scoring and incorrect scores sheets... I wasn't sure if this was the way most comps went or specific to this one ...

Scores are listed on athletics FB page and it lists the teams in order of wining ...
