I feel like their choreo is in house?

I'm pretty sure it very well may be

I'm not saying fire the coaches...I'm just suggesting bringing in fresh eyes for choreo and trying something new...switching up the style perhaps.

There's a disconnect with their routines....as talented and skilled as the routines may be...:and to me personally I think it is in creativity and choreography.



Also, I remember the last year they won? Or maybe the second to last time they won, going into Day 2 they were not in 1st.....and the consensus here (well mine specifically) was they need to take out all of that distracting Cupid shuffle, electric slide dance the non tumblers did during running tumbling... After day 1 they took it out and they won

Now here we are in 2017 and they still
Have a group of girls gettin' jiggy wit it and being distracting. Find something creative for them to do....like it's not even creative movement. It's just boring filler.

I'm really glad that panthers would have been in the same spot regardless of deductions. I could tell that girl was beating herself up in the livestream and I'm glad she won't have to look back and blame herself later on.

I 100% agree. The talent and skills are there, no question. The coaches are brilliant. But the routine being put out just doesn't showcase the skills the way that it should.

I have no idea what you're talking about, tomorrow will be even WORSE! I can't even begin to think about my anxiety over LL, LB, Generals, and SSX hitting tomorrow! SO excited for it though!

I agree. I have outside eyeballs come look at my HS team at least once a year.

I seriously tell them (usually it's a coach friend of mine) to rip the routine to shreds (privately to me.)

Do they shred it? Not really. But they definitely will bring stuff to my attention that I did not see because I have been looking at the same kids and same routine all year.

Ex: "You know you need to upgrade those jumps." Or " yo that stunt needs watered down."

Agree for SE and for Coed Elite as well. Everything needs updated, SE especially used to be capable of a breath holding no blinking TGLC type performance and since 2015 its been - to quote yourself - dry toast.
Dry toast that's then been left out on the plate for another day.

And I love to watch SE, hence why its is so frustrating.

I completely agree and was thinking the same for Coed Elite this morning. Innovative choreography would do wonders for both teams. If you can't win with a Hit you've gotta change things up, which I'm hoping they will do.

I've said it for a few years now CEA should bring in a choreographer from outside the gym. I think it would help dramatically.
It reminds of the one year they did bring in one for right before nca when they debuted a new dance.
And I'll agree with the tumbling critique as well. Having half your running tumbling be fulls when the rest of large senior is throwing mainly doubles isn't helping them at all.
Happy for wcss but was really pulling for Panthers..

Gun so conflict of interest there

But you get my point. Someone creative and innovative and not what they got going on right now...

Star Vipers gets Ray Jasper to do their choreo. He also does CF Nfinitys routines!

Stars have the most whip doubles in standing and running tumbling in the division (except maybe Orange? Idk). And their stunts aren't easy either.

I'm happy they won the Mirrorball trophy!
