There's been innovation every single year its amazing to see what people in this industry are coming up with!

What stunts do you think (or would like) we will see in the competition season this year?
levels 1 - 6

I'm trying to figure out what innovation you've seen every year? I haven't seen anything "wow" in all stars in at least five years.

I'd like to see more people taking inspiration from Cirque du Soleil/circus/acrobatics in general.

I agree with this! I think Cody at Cheer Factory has started the trend of this idea especially for level 1. He is starting to incorporate some basic acro stunts as appropriate level 1 stunts (like the base in a "wall sit" position with the flyer standing on their thighs and use arm to arm bracing to lean or support so they can pull body position).... so basic yet so new to cheer! I was really refreshing to see something different than the typical nugget/kneeling stunt.

1 1/2 and double ups that make it all around. IMO (not trying to talk poop) but if you say your the best team, don't cross your legs for twist ups. Challenge yourself and start non-leg crossing twist ups again as it seems more like you are taking an advantage and cheating.

Personally I'd like to see less motions in stunts. Some teams spend an eight count just doing motions, when they could be doing more innovative stunts! Obviously sometimes the motions really do add to the stunt, but other times they just make the stunt seem very simple, but trying to be flashy.

AKA, arabesques that would have my ballet teacher screaming "YOU LOOK LIKE A DOG AT A FIRE HYDRANT!". It'd also be nice to see them without the chest dropped and the leg barely above a 90 degree angle. It's possible for the leg to go higher than that and not drop one's chest...
heres my thing with arabesques... now if you can do a scorpion great, but now try standing in your living room and pull an arabesque without dropping your chest.... i feel like it requires different back muscles. At my old age of 29 (lol jk) i can still pull a dorito scorpion for like a hot second, but i can barely pull a decent arabesque without dropping my chest. i find pulling a scale much more visually appealing over an arabesque in general.

More double-sided stunting, meaning I'd like to see good technique on the opposite side when doing tic-tocs.

It would be really nice for teams to stretch both sides, so we can have more innovative versions of tic-tocs than just doing a bent-leg heel-stretch. Like right-sided scorpions, scales, bow-and-arrows.
