Is this serious right now? Can you imagine if you applied your thinking to other situations...like if I have 21 kids on my team, I should be able to go small, because it's only 1 person? or I have an 10 year old that wants to be on my Senior 5 team, it's only one so she/he should be able to..?.....

My Unlimited Coed team has 37 people and I don't want to cut someone so can't they just compete at worlds since it is just 1 person?
My Junior team has 1 mom on it who is 37 and has to be with her child at all times, I mean since it is just 1 over age athlete it should be ok right?

I actually think we might want to allow this one for a year on a trial basis. Every team gets to add one cheer mom.

Ahhh yes, the all-girl-give-or-take-a-few division. That makes sense.

You must be 16 to drive, not 15 and 364 days. A 89.9% in a class will earn you a B, but a 90% will earn you an A. Going 1-9 MPH over the speed limit will get you an $80 ticket, but going 10+ over will get you a $160 ticket.

There are cut offs for these things for a purpose: leaves little room for if's, and's or but's. The less gray area, the better. All-girl-give-or-take-a-few would lend itself to gray area... definitely undesirable.

is it going to be a worlds division?

Yeah they not only get full paid bids but they get to fly on a private jet with Jeff Webb all the way there. And the best part is instead of staying at the all star resort they get to actually stay, are you ready for this...IN THE CASTLE. That's right they get to share a room with Cinderella herself.

We have 1 boy on our team but at level 2 you are not considered coed- even though we are SRs. Today we competed against another SR level 2 team with 4 boys. Basically they did stunts, jumps and some tumbling but literally took a knee through the dance and cheer. I think if boys are in the routine they should be in the whole thing.

That's why you find boys that are younger than 12 and teach them.

Our gym owner does an excellant job in bringing in kids that we need, I'm just saying I understand his frustration, because in our area we just don't have boys coming in, maybe our gym is fine with that, I have no idea. As Kingston said, it might get easier and that's great. If they come great if they don't I'm fine with that too.
