:DThat seriously made me laugh! The bad part is its 5am and everyone else is sleeping and I dont wanna wake them up lol!

Oh gosh. We weren't even cheering, we were playing kickball one practice in the summer because a lot of people were missing! We were playing with one of those big exercise balls, and when I went to kick, the ball SOMEHOW rolled under my foot but I started running to first base anyway (with the ball under my foot!) and I flipped over backwards and landed on my butt! In front of a brand new team!

Wasn't me, but I was a witness. Mini level 2 team (years ago). Little girl didn't go to the bathroom before she competed, and well, that extended cupie came down in a wet mess.

I woke up this morning with a huge bump on my forehead: yesterday at regionals my flyer hit me so hard with her elbow she now has a big bruise... She feels really bad haha

I was competing at ACP and tripped walking onto the mat! When you watch the video you see come on...I disappear...then I'm on the screen again!

This wasnt me but this happened to one of my friends on the senior team, she said she was walking onto the mat and tripped. Mine would be falling to the side after doing a round off and breaking a tiny part of my ankle. A round off is something I'm good at!

I used to always laugh at flyers who held signs upside down on accident. Like really? You can't tell it's upside down?
And then, freshman year I did it. We had a tiny team so I was the only flyer in the air and I had the sign upside down. To this day my team makes jokes about it.

I'm a base. And we usually only single twist down from our stunts. But, my coaches wanted to make it better for the next competition. So, they wanted us to double twist. And they wanted my group to do it first because we're all best friends and always stunt outside of our team. We did the stunt and when it was time to twist down, my flyer twisted, kicked my shoulder, dislocated it, and sent me flying on the ground. It didn't hurt to fall, but legitametley everybody on my team was watching and couldn't stop laughing. Luckily, when I hit the ground, it popped back in. It hurt and I couldn't practice for the rest of practice because I was icing it.

Oh, and I have another one. We were doing last pyramid and the two end girls let go of my flyer and when I went to catch her , she elbowed me in the face. Oddly, it hurt her more than it hurt me, but I had a puffy eye on picture day and I was sick for retakes.

At NCA this year, I tripped walking up the hill thing while we were about to compete (In A-Hall, it was really steep) and I literally fell backwards. It really eased the tension tho, and I don't think the crowd saw.?(;

That happened to me last year!!!

Worlds day two,
my team was in third
I busted on my butt,
was the only deduction of the whole routine
and caused my team not to get a globe.

One time I was walking out onto the mat for a competition and I tripped, one of those long 5 or 6 step trips. I got my balance before I fell, but I fell flat on my face the very next step I took. And I remember being so happy I saved myself, and then I fell anyway.

I forget what company / gym it was, but one year a guy that was doing choreography for my gym was telling us about how he was watching or judging this team, and the girl peed during her tumbling pass. apparently she was competing a layout step out, and he was like "it was just this perfect little rainbow of pee between her legs while she was flipping." it was hilarious listening to him tell that story. almost my whole team was about to pee their pants from laughing so hard.

anyways. my senior year, my gym had a non spring floor, and we went to our first competition, and we were back on the tumble strip warming up, and i had forgotten what it was like tumbling on a spring floor...i threw a layout as my first pass, and got super high and like screamed WHOA while i was mid-layout, and when i landed the whole warm up room was quiet and just staring at me and my coaches were laughing hysterically at the end of the tumbling strip.

1. In high school, I was walking so fast to my spot in the cheer that I knocked into our tiniest flyer and took her down... It looked like a football play, dead center of the routine lol

2. In college, doing the halftime routine at a basketball game, I landed my bhs with my skirt pulled all the way up, and my spankies pulled up, exposing my butt cheeks to the crowd. I didn't want to get in trouble for fixing my skirt, so I did the whole rest of the routine like that lol

3. I had a layout and a tuck at one point in my life, so not a super advanced tumbler, but perfectly capable of showing lower level skills during tumbling. In my first year of being on tumbling staff, I was teaching a Level 1 tumbling class and demonstrating a proper roundoff rebound. I wasn't used to tumbling on a spring floor... I rebounded way high and when I landed, I broke my ankle lmao... on a ROUNDOFF

Imagine being the little girl
"My coach broke their ankle teaching me how to do a roundoff.

buahahaha I take the cake...when we got our from Varsity we discovered that our pants were way too big! so we safty pinned them and when I took the floor they were fine...so 2 to full I had to fix them a little bit no biggie triple toe tucks oh they feel loose ok...roundoff full him these are a tad loose...nbd I pull them up and then punch front through to full when I hit the backhandspring they started going...mid full they fell down... -_- luckily I caught them with my knee and kept them up but I ended up busting my pass and of course the action shot people got an awesome shot of my pants falling off and of course a lovely shot of my compression shorts bahaha that pic is on my fridge...my mother is so proud ;)
